“Great hotel”

The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and perfect for starting off a day of traveling. Bed was comfortable and room clean. Literally minutes away from the Vatican. If I go back to Rome, I'll stay here again.

“Great deal!”

We spent 2 nights at this hotel. It is VERY convenient to the Vatican; for our first time to Italy it was a perfect location. It is removed from the rest of the sights. A full breakfast, great service...so many good local restaurants, no need to eat dinner at this hotel.

“Would definitely stay again”

We were very pleased with the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Very quiet part of town within walking distance of St. Peter's Square. The breakfast was delicious. Only issue was more of a language barrier with some front desk attendants.

“No airconditioning!”

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awful, the worst continental breakfast ever but i came to realize all european hotels have the same breakfast menu. My husband and i went in March, durning the cold season, but for some reason our room was ridiculously hot. We tried turning on the air conditioning and when that didnt work we ask the front desk to help. They said all the air was turned off because it was cold and to open a window. We opened the window and a handful of mosquitos came in. We had a couple sleepless nights. Other then that it was great especially since it was so close to the vatican.

“Amazing Location!!!!”

I can not recommend this hotel enough! Staff were lovely, rooms were basic but clean and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety. The main thing that sells this hotel is the location, literally 2 minutes walk from Vatican City and surrounded by a wide range of restaurants and local bars. Ottavia tube station is approx 10 mins away and from here central Rome can be easily reached, or walk approx 5 mins to one of the bridges and stroll through the back streets to find the best tavernas! St Peters is a brilliant landmark for finding your way home after too many vinos!!

“Good Staff, Great localization and Good hotel”

This hotel is very well localized, one block and a half from Vatican and 5 minutes of taxi from the other Rome attraction, and there is a bus #64 one block from hotel that road in all attraction too. The Staff are so very helpful. The room is clean and had cable TV and staff for tea and coffee in the room, price included. And Good breakfast...So I will back and recommend this hotel.

“Good Hotel, Excellent Price, Excellent Service”

This hotel is extremely close to the Vatican; literally just on the other side of the street. I was impressed by the level of service we received from check in to check out. My only wish is that the bathroom had a bathtub and not just a standing only shower with a curtain. The staff was very courteous to us at all times. The breakfast that was included had a plethora of options to choose from. Overall, I am very satisfied with this hotel.

“So close, So clean”

The location was so close to Vatican, we walked there many times. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, specially impressed by hardwood floorings in the rooms. The breakfast was very good. Considering high price for food, we saved food cost very much during the stay iin Rome. Only thing that I found missing was that there was no microwave nor iron table. Other than that, the hotel staying was very pleasing experience.

“Très bon hotel”

J'ai passé un très beau séjour à Rome au Starhotel Michelangelo avec ma famille. Très bien situé a coté du Vatican.
