“Savoy Hote, Rome.........Luxury at it's best!”
The Savoy Hotel is an ideal location for people wanting a hotel located in the heart of Rome. Most of the main attractions, are at a 10-15 minute walk, making this hotel an ideal location. The hotel itself was beautiful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The only facilites that the room didn't have, was tea and coffee making facilties and an iron. Overall it was a pleasure staying at the Savoy. Highly Recommended!
“Spot on!”
1st night was in room 319, lift shaft runs up in corner of room. Changed to another room next morning, staff very helpful. I guess all rooms ending in 19 on all floors will have this unwelcome feature. Apart from that, which was resolved without question or fuss, the hotel is beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. - Location just right for touring Rome. Recommended!
“Great Place to Stay”
If you're looking for a good four star hotel this is for you. As with a lot of hotel rooms in Rome the room was quite dark because of the surrounding buildings, but the service, ambience and facilities were excellent for the money. Just around the corner from the Via Veneto and all the bars/restaurants yet less hectic than "downtown" Rome. Great food at the Ascot Restaurant just a block or two away. Would def stay there again.
“Great Location”
The service was excellent. The continental breakfast was better than good. The room was adequate being a little small for 3 people. But the best part was the location. We were able to walk almost everywhere and metro was close for those places, like the Vatican that we wanted a ride. I would definitely go back.
“Just what we were hoping for”
The hotel was in a great location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the hotel for a stay. The only (minor) comment I have is that our bedroom was quite dark.
“Dolce Vita at the Savoy”
I love the Savoy. Perfect location within walking distance to everything. Classy, safe neighborhood, very friendly and helpful staff, terrific breakfast and enchanting rooftop bar. We travel to Rome a lot and will stay here on all future trips.
“Luxury & Location”
Great and famous spot to stay in Rome. Hotel staff was excellent; really made the stay exceptional. Breakfast included in room rate was an unexpected treat.
“Close to the Villa Borghese”
We had a little snafu with our flight back to the states and had to spend an additional night in Rome. I had my secretary get on Expedia and book the Savoy because it was such a great rate. We wanted to be near the Villa Borghese because my grandson wanted to play in the park. The hotel was really beautiful, ideally located and affordable. The rooms were not recently redecorated but they were very comfortable. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delightful. It is on the rooftop of the hotel and has a wonderful view of the city. We were too tired to go out for dinner and the hotel restaurant was a great alternative (I usually hate hotel restaurants). Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and it was quite nice.
“was good”
everything was perfect, part of the bathroom. we had kitcheen towels.
