“Perfect Hotel & Great Location”
My boyfriend and I decided to meet his Mom and stepfather in Italy for a week of vacation. We didn't book rooms until about 3 weeks out, so there were not many affordable choices left for our 2 days we'd be spending in Rome.I stumbled across Rome Sweet Rome B&B because it had a 4-person room available. It actually worked out great and was MUCH cheaper than booking two separate 2-person rooms. I will say that the hotel was very difficult to find because there is no sign outside of the building on the Via Nacionale street. Therefore you HAVE to make sure you are looking at building/house numbers. You have to go inside a large door and into a courtyard before you see the small sign for Rome Sweet Rome. It is a small floor of about 4-5 rooms. I definitely suggest the corner 4-person room we got. It had two double beds and we were comfortable with the amount of vast amount of space. Being on the corner, there were 3 balconies overlooking the streets and the bathroom was also spacious. There was a cute upstairs breakfast area where the owners prepared breakfast which was traditional pastries cappuccino, etc. The greatest thing about this hotel was the LOCATION. We were literally about one block over from the main street leading up to the Colloseum and main ruins of Rome. The Via Nacionale street is also very close to the main train terminal and is within walking distance.Be prepared to pay in cash for the room. The owner was able to run my credit card, but did not prefer it.
