"Excellent central location with a fantastic host!"
Absolutely loved the B&B, the owner Paolo is most helpful and goes out of his way to make sure you are making the most of your stay in Rome with tips and advice. The B&B was immaculate and the furnishings are of top quality. I felt like I was staying in a 5* hotel.

"Excellent bolt hole with view over piazza Navona"
We had a lovely 3 nights at the Navona suites. The initial arrival is a bit daunting with a big green double door a bell and no real instructions. No problem though - we rang the 1st floor and the lady let us in. After that it was all excellent. Very comfy bed and such a great location

"Round Bed and Breakfast"
A lovely B&B in a safe residential area within easy reach of the historic centre. Elena is the perfect host, very welcoming and made some very good restaurant suggestions. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and stylish.

"Charming boutique hotel"
At the end of my trip I had a nice two night stay at Hotel Villa Duse. The room was very clean, the mattress comfortable and staff helpful. Julia handled reservations for the Borghese museum and made arrangements for a car service to drive me to the airport. I had some trouble operating the sky tv remote, after calling the front desk, someone arrived within a few minutes to help. This is a great hotel and I would definitely stay again. The only issue is the distance to the center of town. Since this was the end of my vacation it was a nice break staying somewhere quieter.

"Rome Central in Style"
Were not the reviewing types but we thought our stay at the Raphael was so memorable we had to say how good we think it is.We were celebrating a significant birthday and glad we chose so well. There were so many little things about our stay that together they built into a feeling of real attention to detail. A boxed chocolate on the bed every day, slippers and the Bulgari bathroom products, replaced every day all added to the experience. The staff were attentive and friendly beginning with a welcome drink and a chat with a one of the staff before taken to our room. The room was city size with a king size bed and certainly helped support the price of the room, but with a large white marble shower room. Luckily on the second night the hot water stopped and we were immediately upgraded to an upstairs suite for the last night . The staff almost all spoke English and so forgiving of my rubbish Italian, and so lovely having the front doors opened by someone in a coachmans uniform. The restaurant we thought could be a little more intimate though we didnt eat there in the evening but were impressed with the breakfast of bacon eggs fruit pastry and much more. One thing missing was any view as the hotel is in a side street, ours was of a very old brick wall though, but go to the roof terrace and look out over Rome.

Relais Castrum Boccea

"Tuscany in Roma; best of both worlds."
Living in a major city we were hoping to stay outside of Rome's city limits to experience Italy on a more intimate level, rather than the hustle and bustle of city life we are used to. Staying at Relais Castrum Boccea was exactly what we were looking for and were so pleased with our stay. It is the best of both the country side and being able to reach Rome in a short time. To start, he view is absolutely breathtaking. Set atop a hill in what feels the country side (30 minutes outside of Rome), we got the serenity we were looking for. We were able to watch both the sunrise and sunset on the beautiful hotel grounds. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very delicious pizzeria up the road, less than a mile. Cute little shop to get meats, cheese and wine from a country store. Staying here gave us a more Italian experience than tourist museums and ancient ruins. My only advice would be if you are thinking of staying here, stay at least 3-4 nights. I suggest this because if you use the van to hitch a ride into the city, you only get ~7hours to explore the city. .By the time you arrive, ~1030 (due to traffic), it does not give you must time to leisurely walk around the city.

"Fantastic hotel - would definitely recommend!"
Lovely hotel - perfect for our 4 day stay in Rome. Great location - 10 minutes from Spanish Steps/Trevi Fountain and 20 minutes from the Coliseum. Hotel itself is lovely - fantastic decor, wonderful staff and lovely food and drink. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Rome.
