“tranquil location”

This hotel worked out great for my wife and myself. ATM in front of the building, bus stop across the street and a metro station at the bottom of the block. All the sights were easily accessible from this location. The hotel was comfortable and clean. Had a large balcony that overlooked the neighborhood. The hot water heater was a little small so you had to wait between showers. The matress is getting a little old and worn but all in all a very nice apartment. We would stay here again.

The hotel staff all speak English and are polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect: being walking distance to the Vatican and close to the metro. Except for the bathroom which is very narrow in shape and makes it a little difficult to use, everything in the suite is excellent and kept in a clean condition.

“Good location”

We've just came back from Rome. Our stay in Villa Tassoni was good and comfy. Yes it's 10 min walk from the metro, but there are a lot of buses that just across the street, what makes this location is absolutely convenient. #907 is going to Cipro station, 913 is going to all historical sight seen (get out at the final stop Piaza Augusto, then walking distance to any ....) and it also stops on Ottaviano station (whish is next to Cipro). All other buses are also going though the Ottaviano station, so we never waited. We liked buses much better and hardly used metro. Keep in mind that metro ends running by 9:30 at night, while buses are running till midnight. So, we had no problem with coming back to Villa. Buy metro pass and you are free to go around Rome. All this info we've got from friendly staff of the Villa and we are happy that we asked them on the first day of the arrival. We also recommend to arrange your way back to the airport though the management of the Villa. We had suit # 35, no complains. Only one small remark: there were no wine glasses and only 1 glass for the juice, but we survived this!

As said before Great Location,This Place is nice and quiet and one can walk to the vatican any day or ask the concierge to book a tour.They are very very efficient and polite for nature.Also very proffesional.we where impressed.

“Close to the Vatican, in a Roman neighborhood”

We found the staff at the Residence Villa Tassoni to be very helpful. The location is within a block of coffee bars, wine bars, a bakery, a grocer, ATM, and trattorias serving very good Roman cuisine. You can walk to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Square. From the upper streetside windows, we could see a flock of parrots visiting trees in the next block, adding to the exotic appeal of Rome.

“Awesome Stay!”

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel.. The hotel was great for couples, I can't really recommend it to a family. Rooms are too small for a family... I highly recommend it otherwise!

“Would stay there again”

First impressions of the hotel and area weren't that great, but once inside, very impressed. It was clean, our room was lovely with ample space and a balcony. Once we explored the area, we found it to be friendly with a beautiful pizzeria just 2 mins up the road. Francesco and sebastian on the front desk were very helpful, esp francesco. Great supermarket just down the hill where we bought things to cook in our kitchenette, 10 min walk to the Vatican. All in all, a perfect place for sightseeing in Rome, would definately return.

A small quaint hotel located within walking distance of the Vatican Museum, Residence Villa Tassoni provided a comfortable and welcome place to spend our nights in Rome. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and kind. Our suite had a small kitchenette, television and internet access (DSL cable provided by management). The hotel is perfect for family travel and for anyone wishing to spend their days exploring Rome. I will stay there again on my next visit to Rome.

“The Villa Tassoni. Wonderful.”

Upon arriving at the Villa Tassoni there was someone (I believe it may have been the infamous Mr. Sebastian) waiting for us and he was wonderful. Very friendly, warm and he told us about Rome, getting about, the sights, the nice areas. Everything. The room was spacious for a studio and had everything we needed for our 5 day stay and more. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the neighbourhood was pleasant and quiet. People have mentioned the shower and hot water supply, but it was such a minor detail that it didnt affect our trip in the slightest. The villa is halfway up a banked street, which might put some people off, but we took it in our stride. We even found ourselves walking back from the city centre at night because it was such a beautiful and safe city to wander about in. It was so much closer to the city centre than we thought too, only 10-15 minutes walk from the Vatican Walls (30 mins to the city centre) and surrounded by some top notch and cheap coffee shops and pizzerias. There are also plenty of buses that run from right outside the Villa, and the metro is very safe, easy to use and efficient. We got a 7 day pass for unlimited travel which cost 16 euro and was everything we needed. Dont bother with taxi's, enjoy soaking up the city. We honestly thought we had struck gold with the Villa Tassoni, the value for money is excellent in my opinion. I would return there tomorrow with no hesitation.
