“Perfect Rome hotel for overnight stopover”

I was really pleasantly surprised! The receptionist spoke perfect English, and got me effortlessly to my room, which was quite large and comfortable -- with free WiFi computer access. I arrived at a time between lunch and dinner, and they welcomed me into the breakfast room for snacks and coffee. There was a lovely trattoria just a few blocks walk away (also a pizza shop, but I opted for the restaurant). Convenient 6 Euro shuttle to airport. And best of all -- trip in taxi from airport to hotel was just Euro 9!!! Quite a bargain, compared with a flat 60 Euro fare to central Rome!

“decent hotel”

Hotel is close to Fiumicino airport but still an expensive taxi ride from airport. Hotel shuttle is not convenient...hours are very limited. Room itself was spacious, clean, and quiet. Located in a residential neighborhood.

“Nice spot by the airport”

We stayed here so we wouldn't have to rush to catch our morning flight out of Fiumicino Airport. The hotel is nice - very clean and secure. It seems like it's also meant for extended stays. There was a small kitchenette with a stove. There's not much to do in the surrounding area, but there are some restaurants within walking distance. Great if you need to be near the airport - the hotel arranged a shuttle for us for 6 euro each that took about 10 mins to drop us off.

“Outstanding Hotel - Highly recomended for english speaking guests”

Short & sweet: The hotel was exceedingly clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent and the in-house prices for food and drink were fair. I did NOT come away feeling like I was just fleeced for my cash I highly recommend this estlablishment!

“The best Alternative”

We decided to try a small hotel that was near the airport instead of staying at the very over priced large chain hotel that is attached to the airport. Well, what a breath of fresh air it was indeed and we saved a bundle of money. The staff was great and it was very near some great resturants for our evening meal. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

“Residence La Maison Jolie”

We stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions before and after a cruise. We really enjoyed this hotel. It is a little difficult for taxis to find, but it is very close to the Rome airport (4 Km). The close proximity is a real asset. We took a local shuttle into Rome which was easy to use. Breakfast was provided. Rooms were very large. I would recommend this hotel as a good choice.

“A better alternative to the Fiumicino Airport Hotels”

The several people who were at the reception desk during our stay were extremely helpful and pleasant. Our room was quite large, clean and nicely appointed. Free wi-fi and a nice breakfast buffet were also provided. The area around the hotel is a residential neighborhood that was quiet and only a short drive (< 10 minutes) from the airport. The hot water system was different than what I am accustomed to, but not an issue. This hotel is only practical for those with a car.
