“"Brilliant :))"”
loved everything about the Hotel Regno and Rome its self :)))
“Central location in Rome”
Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, and getting on the hop on hop off bus to go elsewhere....several nice restaurants within walking distance...lots of people on the street, so felt very safe in the evening walking back to the hotel.. rooms small, but very comfortable and good air conditioning.
“Great location”
This hotel was in a great location for walking to all popular attractions. The room although a bit dated was spacious and included a large balcony over the main via corso. Breakfast was taken in a light airy room and was pleasant. The bathroom facilities were clean and modern with a nice shower. The staff were very pleasant and helful. I would recommend this hotel especially the family rooms, but if you are looking for luxury you may have to pay more and go else where.
“Poor service and unfriendly staff.”
Whenever I asked the front desk a question, it was usually a one-word answer and a 'get out of my face' attitude. They were not very helpful or friendly. Housekeeping walked in on me while I was changing, even though I had the deadbolt locked (I guess their keys also unlock the deadbolt). The floor in my room was quite dirty. The AC in the room was not very cool, even at the coldest setting. Breakfast does not start until 7:00AM. Even if the food is out, do not try to eat before then or you will be scolded by the staff. (I went at 6:45 because I had a train to catch, and they yelled at me).

Area:
Spanish Steps - Trevi Fountain, Rome, Italy: Romes largest, most spectacular fountain, the Trevi Fountain is a baroque extravaganza, its ancient sea gods and gushing water dominating a tiny piazza. Immortalised in Fellinis film, La Dolce Vita, this is the place to toss your coins to ensure your return to the Eternal City. The three streets radiating from the piazza lead to the historical centre and sights of the Quirinale one of the original seven hills.
