“Great location, friendly and helpful staff.”

This was me and my wife's first visit to Rome and I cannot believe how lucky we were to have booked this hotel. The location could not be better only 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps, 10 minutes from the Trevi Fountain and around 20 minutes’ walk from the Vatican. It is also very close to the Spagna Metro station which makes visiting locations further afield and getting to and from the Fiumicino Airport. The room itself was small but not untypical of descriptions we've heard of other boutique hotels in Rome. That said it was sufficient for our needs of a crash pad to rest our heads in central Rome. The room was clean with an excellent bathroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and best of all a small fridge which allowed us to have chilled bottles of water for our hot days out in Rome. The hotel itself is in a residential block of flats with a very old fashioned small lift (just enough for two people) with the hotel occupying the third floor. It is in a high fashion shopping precinct with a choice of many restaurants nearby. Our recommendation would be a restaurant in Via Della Vite called life.. The staff could not have been more helpful even assisting us in booking tickets online for the Vatican. Breakfast is served in your room with a choice of continental breakfast at a time of your choosing. When we return to Rome we will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anybody wishing to stay in Rome and is just looking for somewhere to rest their head at night.

“Prestige Guest House”

Hôtel trés bien situé en plein centre touristique et à 15 mn à pied de l'historique. Rue et hôtel calme. Chambres refaites et de trés bon goût. Literie neuve et l'ensemble est trés propre. Il est facile de bien entretenir que 6 chambres. Petits dejeuners au lit et trés complet, rien à redire. Trés, trés, bon acceuil. tous étaient serviables et souriants. Les 2 hôtesses parlent Français. Trés satisfait. A recommander.

Très bon hôtel , on ne peut plus central, l 'accueil , le service , la propreté, la disponibilité du personnel, nous sommes très contents d 'avoir choisi cet hôtel . Juste une remarque : les lits sont un peu durs , dommage , sinon tout est parfait.

Great location, rubbish breakfast. Friendly staff, shower cubicle falling apart. Good price for the location and standard of room. Very central but on a quiet street. I would use this hotel again (although it is not a hotel, or a guest house but a few rooms in an apartment building).

“Prestige Guest House, Rome May 2012”

The location of this hotel is excellent. 3 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps, 4 or 5 minutes from Trevi Fountain, 7 or 8 minutes from the Pantheon. The Colosseum is also within easy walking distance and you see lots of things along the way. There is a metro station round the corner near the Spanish steps but we only used it once as it's nicer to walk and see more of the architecture. The room itself was fine. Quite clean and tidy. The mini bar is reasonably priced (for a mini bar). The bathroom was new and modern although the shower didn't drain properly so the tray would fill up and overflow, cascading down the steps from the bathroom into the bedroom area. The only problem we had was that there was a connecting door to one of the other rooms and the first night we were there the people nextdoor were talking loudly and playing some kind of God awful euro dance music and sounded like they were in the room with us due presumably to the thin door. We spoke to the guy on the 24hr reception though and he phoned their room and asked them to keep it down which they did immediately. Worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper though. The hotel staff were very helpful overall, telling us where all the sights were, recommending restaurants, etc and minding our bags for us between check out and departing for the airport. The continental breakfast was nice too. Overall I'd recommend this as a great place to stay if you're staying for the weekend and want to be close to everything.

“Very noisy but great location, staff and rooms”

Good points: Great location Great breakfast (served in your room whenever you like, many options!) Very friendly and helpful staff Very clean and tidy Bad point: The noise. You could hear every conversation in the rooms around you and were waken up with the sound of the staff making breakfast. Only one bad point but for me it made the stay a lot less private and comfortable. Overall: Great place to stay in a fantastic location if you don't mind the noise issue
