“Stunning location”
While this hotel is not cheap, especially with the weak pound, the location is stunning and the service excellent. Amazing views of the Coliseum. In Rome, like in London, you get what you pay for.

“Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location”
I originally booked the marco aurelio loft apartment at the hotel. On first viewing I thought it was ok but not what I was looking for. I had planned this trip for months as a surprise for my girlfriend as it was her birthday and I planned to propose to her during our stay in Rome. The apartments didn't have a romantic feel. I did not complain but spoke to the hotel receptionist who offered me a prestige room in the hotel itself for no extra cost. This room was lovely and the feel of a boutique hotel as advertised. We were extremely happy and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is 200 metres opposite the magnificent colliseum and in the most ancient part of Rome. on the night of my girlfriends birthday I reserved a table at the wonderful aroma restaurant located on the roof of the hotel. I had emailed the manager of the hotel before we arrived and informed him about my plans to propose. He took the time to make suggestions and arranged for a birthday cake to be made and for some red roses to arrive. I gave him the ring and he disguised the ring on a separate plate which he explained to my now fiancee that accompaning the ring was a special chocolate sauce. I then did the rest and she said yes :-). Overall I cannot recommend this hotel enough. And please visit the aroma restaurant. It's costly but soooo worth it with a wonderful view of the colliseum. Thanku to everyone at the Pallazo manfredi.
“Great hotel. Excellent location. Excellent service”
Apart from being located right beside the colosseum,what makes this a great hotel is the service. They really go the extra mile. However, with no tea and coffee in the room and a 10 euro room service charge, it cost us 26 euros to have two coffees in our room. Maybe a little excesive.
“Parfait! Superbe hotel”
Hotel magnifique. Chambre trés confortable, lit impeccable, climatisation. Le petit dejeuner buffet sur la terasse du 4eme étage avec vue sur le colisée. (150m en face) est un must! On était maximum 4/5 sur la terasse, donc trés calme. Le personnel parle anglais, francais, se souvient de vos choix et est tres attentif. Pour mon prochain voyage à Rome je rechoisis sans hésiter l'hotel.

We loved this hotel and would reccomend it to others. It was great. If we go to Rome again, we will stay there.
“situation idéale”
Parfait pour rayonner dans le centre historique de Rome. la terrasse avec vue sur le Colisée tient ses promesses. malheureusement, le salon y attenant n'est pourvu que de 2 pauvres fenêtres. c'est très frustrant lorsqu'il pleut ou qu'il fait froid.
“Excellent hotel”
The hotel was immaculate, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was perfect. Couldn't fault a single thing about it. If I ever stay in Rome again it will definitely be the hotel for me. The bars adjacent to the hotel were busy at night but there was no noise at all in the rooms and the customers from the bars were not at all intimidating or intoxicated, it was very friendly and relaxed. Would recommend it thoroughly to families and couples alike. We walked everywhere with our 10 year old daughter. The furthest place was the vatican which took about an hour to walk to.

Très belle situation près du colisee. Prendre un petit déjeuner copieux sur la terrasse au dernier etage est vraiment tres agreable. Personnel attentionné et tres professionnel.
“Superb small hotel overlooking the coliseum”
The view of the colosseum from the hotel is superb.The view from the roof terrace/small dining room is unbeaten! Dining in the summer from this roof terrace would be great. Hotel was very warm & comfortable. Very friendly helpful staff. Cleanliness and general standard of hotel was excellent. Lots of extra touches like robes and slippers, plenty of toiletries, linen and towels changed daily. Hotel is in very central location but no outside noise could be heard from the rooms. Cannot fault this hotel and would definitely go back, just give me the opportunity!!
