“Beautiful, relaxing hotel”
We were recommended this hotel and it lived up to everything we were told. The staff were very polite and accomodated your every wish. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was the best continental breakfast we had ever had, included hot breakfast as well. Situated just around the corner from St Peters Square, so very well situated for sight seeing. If you are looking for a lively hotel , this is not for you. We went for a relaxing, romantic weekend break and for that it was perfect. We would definately book this hotel again.
“Superb Location and High Quality Hotel”
This hotel is literally steps from the Vatican. It is an old monastery-lots of character, very neat and clean and in a really nice area. The only downside is the noise level. You can hear someone talking downstairs as if they are in your room. A good set of ear plugs should help with this. I would highly recommend this hotel!
“Hotel Palazzo Cardinal Cesi à Rome”
Tres bon hotel. Situé à coté du Vatican, très bien placé. Le personnel est accueillant, parle français. J'y retournerai sans hésiter.
“We are already planning our next stay!”
From the imposing front doors to the familiarity we felt with the staff, this is an exceptional hotel! Not only would I recommend this hotel to others but I am trying to convince others to travel with us whaen we go again! I can guarantee them a wonderful stay!
“Excellent location”
The best part of staying at this hotel, primarily for those interested in the Vatican, was the hotel's proximity to St. Peter's. The hotel proper was convenient and comfortable, without the feeling of a busy hotel in a big city. Set back from the main street behind a spacious courtyard, the hotel was quiet and elegant. Breakfast had all that one could want, and for those who are Catholic, was accompanied by the daily scripture readings printed in 3 languages. The bathroom was small but had all that was necessary. The safe was tiny so be mindful of what valuables you may bring and want to leave behind during the day. The staff assisted in booking restaurants, recommending sites to visit, printing airline boarding passes, and other requests. I would gladly return.
“perfect”
An excellent base to see the Vatican city,I found the staff friendly and very helpfull, wonderfull restraunts nearby for evening meals as the hotel only provides breakfast,I would definately use this hotel again.
“CARDINAL CESI: idéalement situé, accueil et disponibilité très appréciable”
Belle chambre, disponibilité de l'accueil, beau patio, petit déjeuner très complet et copieux
“Weekend Trip to Rome”
The hotel is in an excellent location, it is a few steps from the Vatican and only a few minutes walk from other areas of Rome. The interior of the hotel is very clean and tidy with a lovely courtyard that is shady and quiet. The room was very small but perfectly functional. The bathroom was even smaller and the shower cubicle was very tight. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and very tasty. On the down side our room smelled of smoke and the extractor fan did not work which was a little annoying. Also the hotel was quite noisy. Although you could not hear the street outside you could hear other guests in their rooms at all times of the day and night. I would recommend staying at this hotel because it is in a good location with very friendly and helpful staff with clean rooms.
“bon hotel”
“Just Meters from St Peter's”
Just 200 meters from St Peter's Square. The hotel entrance is via a serene garden courtyard. Interior of hotel is up to date and in very good condition. Hotel staff is very knowledgeable, pleasant, and helpful. Room is spacious enough, nicely decorated and modern. For the price, the bathroom is a bit small and the shower is not an actual shower, but a curtain that encloses a small corner of the bathroom. If you want to say near St Peter's, this is a very nice hotel.
