“A wonderful experience”
We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is located in the E.U.R. area of Rome, but the public transportation in Rome can get you anywhere in the city very easily. The staff of the hotel gave easy directions for using the public transit system, and even sold the metro cards at the hotel. The breakfast provided bythe hotel was tastey and the capaccinos were awesome! The restaurant downstairs was lovely, and the food was reasonably priced and delicious! When we come back to Roma we will be staying at the Orto di Roma again.
“Family Feel”
The hotel was beautiful and so family friendly. The complimentary breakfast was bountiful and I had no complaints. They even made whatever type of coffee you wanted upon request. The attached restaurant was of fine quality and reasonable in price. Within a few minutes walk was a mall and that was great to do some European shopping. The location was in a good neighborhood. If you are coming by train and then bus, this place is a bit out of the way. At least I can say that the bus does stop right outside the hotel.
“Good value !!”
Ample breakfasts and nicley presented rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nicley situated for seeing a different side of Rome, which is what we wanted this time round. Would return to this establishment. However, beware of taxi costs from airport- we were advised it would be around 30-35 euros ( you need to allow for double this). It would therefore be cheaper to hire a car, if you're brave enough to drive around Italy !!
“Bien, calme et convivial.”
Cet hotel est situé dans un secteur calme de la ville et le descriptif que l'on trouve sur le site est vrai à 100%. En plus il est bien desservi par les transports en commun et le personnel est sympa
“Great Hotel! Friendly Staff!”
Great hotel with an extremely friendly and helpful staff. bi-lingual, which helps a lot. Would definitely stay there again! Breakfast was also delicious and the reception desk open all day and night.
“Good and cheap hotel”
It is a good hotel, comfortable, good breakfast, good location, but the only detail is that the wifi wasn't working. I would recommend it anyway.
“Très agréable et au calme”
très agréable et au calme appréciable après les visites de la Ville. Le centre de Rome est facilement accessible depuis l'hotel par bus (766) puis métro (Basilique San Paolo). Sans problèmes. Restaurant juste à coté très correct, avec repas sous la tonnelle. Chaudement recommandé
“Great choice for us-would go back in a heart-beat!”
This hotel was perfect for our stay, not hard to find from the airport, close to shopping for any necessity, fantastic restaurant almost attached to the hotel, great breakfast, super service. We left my wallet in the safe along with all our travelers checks - they tucked them in their safe until we returned one week later. They went out of their way to understand us and give us information. Close to the buses = close to Rome. Would stay there again and again!
“If you must stay outside Rome”
If you cannot stay in Rome this hotel is very nice. Great breakfast and wonderful restaurant for dinner. All the locals eat there! But, next time I will spend the extra dough and stay in Rome.
“Out of the Way Find”
This hotel in on the outskirts of Rome, but a taxi ride from the hotel to the Roma Termini was only 18 Euro. The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. They were happy to tell us how to get back from the city center using the mass transit of trains and buses (they have a great map!!!) A friend of ours was stationed in Venice, so he came down to visit us in Rome, but the time got away from us, so instead of him catching a train back to Venice, he came back to the hotel with us. The concierge on duty (at midnight) was more than accommodating was got a 3rd bed, blankets and pillow for him to sleep on! The thoughtfuls went way beyond what we were expecting and couldn't be happier. After spending so many nights in the hustle and bustle of the "city" we were happy for a night of quiet before we returned home. I would definately recommend this hotel and stay there again!

The bombastic architecture was then intended to glorify Fascism, but now is home to shops, cinemas and clubs and exhibitions. Within the marble halls there are also three very good museums, including the fascinating Museum of Roman Civilization.
