We really enjoyed our stay at Saladra Roma Suite. It's within walking distance from all the main attractions & a bus ride to Vatican City. Gianni was very helpful and gave us some good advices how to spend our short time in the city. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great place, average spot.
Nice friendly staff, local restaurants, accomodation is okay (not great). For the price I recommend it. However it is slightly further out of town and maybe not to everyone’s taste who don’t want to walk into the main area, local area has some good restaurants and gelato places.

Thank you for you feed back , but permit me to tell you that we are in the center of the mail sights of Rome , Spanish steps just 10 minuts walking distance such us Trevi fontein , the Via veneto just behind the corner, Barberini square Down the hotel , what do you mean when you say " out of town?" sorry but it is just to be clear with other custmers that would like to come:)). Great Service but O.k. Hotel
Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. The hotel is located about 10 min from train station in a 2nd floor 19th century old building. Elevator is a joke, very old fits only 2 people and starts from the second level. Room is very small with basic furniture but bathrooms require renovation (old and mildew can be found between tiles and ceiling). WiFi was slow and wasn't working all the time from my room. Breakfast is very basic Coffee/tea, croissant, toast bread, jam.

It was a pleasure to stay at Salandra Roma Suite with my family. Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by one of the receptionists. They were extremely helpful throughout our stay and gave great recommendations on how to best see the sights and where to eat the best food. Great place to come back to and lay down at the end of the night.

Perfect site seeing accommodation - Great service!
The location was perfect and just a few minutes away from Termini station. When we arrived, we were greeted by an extremely friendly man named Johnny. After checking us in, Johnny proceeded to provide us with a plan to spend our one night in the city. It was absolutely perfect. We were not only able to walk around and see a majority of the major sites, but also had a great dinner in area that was suggested where the food was fantastic and not too expensive. If it wasn't for Johnny, we definitely would not have had such an incredibly experience. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to others.

Location was the only good thing about Salandra.
Shower didn't have any water pressure/didn't work. Could hear everyone snoring in different rooms every night (very thin walls). Breakfast was Blah, (served in room) stale bread and mediocre cappuccinos.

Friendly and Convenient Budget Hotel
The location was convenient for our traveling and also to see the city on foot. For the budget, it was just fine. The rooms are quite small, but as a "home base" and place to sleep, it was quiet enough. It was clean, the wifi was great, and the service was friendly and helpful. We were pleased that continental breakfast was included in the rate.

I, my wife,, and our two big kids stayed for 2 night. This hotel is really good, everything is amazing: breakfast room service on time . room cleanliness good . safety deposit in the room . airconditioning good , showers good. We like to come back and recommend to friends.

As soon as I arrived I was provided with a wealth of information by one of the owners. They were very helpful even with food suggestions. I used the map they provided during all my stay in Rome. Getting up the stairs was a little difficult but leaving I was helped with my bags and to get a taxi called by them. There is a continental breakfast which is what it says it is exactly. Provided at the time you want it and very nicely served. So mostly a comment of Europe if you want your fruits and vegetables make sure you get them elsewhere, since you will have a lot of meat, pasta and bread, which is great by the way... Towels provided are not of great quality but they work nicely and you will be provided with normal toiletries, nothing fancy but clean and well suited. And yes as previous comments state the shower is "tiny".

Great customer service and location
Gianni first contacted me right after booking and provided good info on how to get to the b&b from the airport. Once we arrived, he provided great info on the city and how to get around. The breakfast was served in the room and was a true European breakfast so don't expect pancakes and eggs but it was fresh and good. Gianni helped us book our trips and helped contact the airlines to find my luggage that was lost. The location was closeby to termini rail station and the metro and bus lines. The room was alittle small but was clean and was made up each day. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was small but clean and updated. If you are working on a budget, this was a great stay. Thanks Gianni.

Helpful and freimdly staff . Davide was excellent . Breakfast room service on time . Room cleanliness good . Safety deposit in the room . Airconditioning good , showers good , so Very practical for budget tourist who needs a safe , clean and silent room to return to after a tiring sightseeing day. Excellant inhouse cappicino . Only glitch , Do not recommend quadruple room for family with teenage kids . I actually had to book another double room and the staff was kind enough to consider special rate.

We arrived late & the guy at check in spoke good English, was very friendly & helpful but the room was very average, it seemed like a hospital room. The breakfast in the morning consisted of croissant, tea or coffee and spreads so very basic & it was delivered in your room. The location was good, walking distance to trevi fountain & spanish steps but wouldn't stay here again.

Clean & Comfortable B & B
The Maria Luisa B & B is located in a great area and we were able to walk to most attractions. This B & B is a budget friendly place to stay in a great location as we were able to walk to most attractions. For sites that we wanted to see a bit further, the subway is only a couple of blocks away. Breakfast was amazing each morning and is delivered to your room. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend this B & B to others. This is not the Hilton or Sheraton but a comfortable, budget friendly, very clean place to stay in Rome.

The outstanding part was the concierge who was very helpful with information and getting us oriented. The room was sweet and very simple - just what we needed. A short walk to some of the main attractions but not quite in the hub of things...

Great base but needs a little TLC
Cannot fault the location of this hotel - right in the heart of things and within walking distance of many of the classic sites - as well as being about one minute from the bus stop for the less energetic. The rooms are dated though and are in need of up-dating, the en-suite fixtures and fittings are a bit tired also and could do with an up-grade. The hotel is very clean and comfortable though and provides an excellent base. My main criticism is the lack of a breakfast room, coffee and croissants brought to the bedroom isn't my idea of breakfast. There was only one chair in the room and a very small table so one person could sit but the other had to sit in bed - croissant crumbs do not make great bed-fellows. My advice would be to knock through one of the bedrooms off the reception area and create a small breakfast room - this would provide a much better morning experience for guests, and enable the breakfast selection to be improved also.

Old World Charm.
Great location .Wonderful staff .Arrived from Canada not knowing what to expect .We were within walking distance of the main attractions and close to the shops .Although this is an older building everything was well kept up , .We had to leave at 5am for the airport, they arranged for a taxi to pick us up and we were given a flat rate so there was no surprises when we got there . I would definitely stay there again.

Good value in the center of Rome
This hotel is a very good value for the budget traveler. it is located in a charming building in the center of Rome, very handy to many sights. The staff made an exceptional effort to help us with a problem retrieving luggage from the airport, and was very helpful and friendly generally. The room was small by American standards but quite adequate. Breakfast, which was included, was good. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

A very nice stay at Maria Luisa
The hotel offers an excellent location (10 minutes walk from termini station, 5 minutes to the zoo and the park) everything was in a walking distance and it was great. The service was very nice - a clean and cosy room, breakfast at the room in the mornings, TV & air conditioning. The price was great, and I think the hotel offers grat value for money

Having become a bit spoilt staying in regular 4 and 5 star hotels I was a bit worried when I arrived at the Maria Luisa B&B. However I remembered that I had paid a very reasonable rate and would be wrong to expect fancy surroundings. The B&B is located up a couple of flights of stairs in a building of mixed use - a surprise at first but quite charming on reflection. The room and ensuite were adequate and clean, the air conditioning and TV worked and the room was quiet even though it was opposite the reception area. Best of all the staff were helpful and nice. I would stay there again as the price was great for the location.

Good stuff: The room was clean and it was pretty close to the train station. We actually walked to the Metro on the morning we left. Not so good: Our room was on the main hall and I could hear everything in the other rooms. The first night, a baby cried all night. Also, the toilet was very loud when refilling the tank. I know that's an odd statement, but it was quite loud, so noteworthy.

Friendly owners, great location
Stefania and her partner were a lovely couple, who were friendly, warm and helpful. They were both kind people, who made our stay fantastic. The B&B is in an old building, with 6 floors and a tiny old fashioned lift. The rooms are in a traditional style, and in some places, due to the age of the building, things are falling apart a little bit. However, it is quaint and charming. The breakfast is very simple by UK/US standards, but this is the Italian way. I would strongly recommend it as a place to stay. It is within walking distance of all the tourist sites, near some great restaurants and is about a 10 minute walk from the central train station.

My wife and I had a pleasant mid week stay. Staff very attentive and helpful with directions to tourist sights etc. Hotel is 7-8 minutes walk to Termini and 5 minutes to Piazza de Republica metro station. Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and other tourist attractions are much nearer to the hotel and each other than they appear on the tourist maps. A very enjoyable stay

Good value hotel/B&B near Repubblica Square.
Great location and good value (for Rome). All the main tourist attractions are within 30mins walk. Owners are very helpful with restaurant suggestions, directions and tips for trips around Rome. Good value and lively Pizzeria, and a great Roman restaurant, both just over the road. Quad room was a little cramped, but ok for a family with young children.

Good Reasonably Priced Hotel For ROME
The hotel is a short distance from the main Railway Station and therefore excellent location for getting around Rome. The Staff in the hotel were exceptionally helpful and assisted in everyway to make our day trips out very manageable. I cannot fault the 24 hour service provided, totally flexible to bring early breakfast's to our room when requested. The only critisism was the rooms are not the most soundproof. You could hear talking in the next rooms and water running in the adjacent bathrooms which was disconcerting. Apart from this the hotel was reasonably priced compared with other hotels in the same location. A big thank you to the helpful staff.

Walking distance to most major sights
Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights and were extremely happy with our stay. Upon arriving the female owner was very friendly and so helpful, provinding us with all the information that we needed for our stay inc bus and train info, must see sights, reccommended eateries etc. The room was very clean. The breakfast consisted of crossaints and bread rolls, juice and tea/coffe. It was perfect for us. They bring it to your room at the time you request which is great. All the staff were very friendly and appraochable. The reception is open 24 hrs so there is no hassle getting in if you have a late night..:) Highly reccommend, it was our last stop in Italy and it was a great place to end our trip.

Loved the Maria Luisa hotel!
My fiance and I had a wonderful experience at the Maria Luisa hotel in Rome. It was close to the Termini station, which was very convenient since we took the train to/from the airport. The hotel was within an easy 10 minute walk of the "touristy" areas, but we liked that the hotel was a little outside of the super crowded areas. We found great restaurants and cafes nearby that avoided a tourist feeling. The hotel itself is maintained well and all the employees were extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was great and we liked getting it in our room every morning so we could eat and get ready, then leave for the day to go sight-see. Free wireless internet was great as well. Price was extremely reasonable, especially considering that Rome is not cheap! We definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed in the Tiffany suite which was recently renovated. The room was in good condition and kept very clean. A bit small but does the job. The croissants were sugary which wasn't to our taste. Walkable distance to shopping street via del Corso and other major attractions. Best pizza restaurant round the corner Annicinquanta at affordable prices.

A great place to stay for most people.
The Maria Luisa is a quaint B & B in the heart of the city. Stefania is a wonderful hostess. She and the staff provided us with maps and information and never made us feel like we were bothering them with our many questions. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast adequate. The only downsides were minor, the hairdryer was broken and we never did get the AC to work. Other than that, I would recommend this B & B to most people, keeping in mind that there are LOTS of stairs and a tiny elevator (although, even with the lift, you will still have to contend with some stairs.) Initially it is very hard to find, so you might want to start out with a cab until you learn your way around. A short walk to the Pantheon and the Termini Train Station. And, a very short walk to the #62 bus stop can get you anywhere else you might want to go.

Имейте в виду, что комнаты расположены на третем этаже, лифт не доступен. В ванной только мыло и фен. Большое спасибо за все, за такие небольшие деньги все шикарно.Когда попадаешь в Рим, все остальное становится не так важно.

Muy buena experiencia, muy buen ubicado para manejarse a pie y con restaurantes cerca. Buena elección . Unico punto a mejorar es el tipo de las toallas, son de tela y no secan bien. Resto todo perfecto.
