“Clean, close to Termini”

While this hotel was good, the only reason I can see people staying here is because it is a 5 minute walk to Roma Termini. It is a long walk to typical Rome tourist attractions (Colosseum, Vatican, Piazza Navona, etc.) Their is no concierge, but someone was there when we arrived. We were asked to pay in cash, and when I asked for a receipt, the man who worked there asked why. I thought this was a little strange, because I knew they had my credit card number and I didnt want them to say I never paid cash and then also charge my card. After a little push back though, he gave me a receipt. There was NO air conditioning in our room (I dont know if other rooms have it) which I was unaware of when I booked. Luckily the two open windows kept us pretty cool during the night. The room and bathroom were clean and there was a flat screen tv. We only needed the room for a place to stay before our flight out the next morning, and for that purpose it was perfect.

“Lucky House close to train station”

Overall, this is a nice location three blocks from Rome Termini train station and metro system. We had a private bathroom, but there was also a shared bathroom for other units. It had a kitchen, where milk and toast was provided, and a full fidge/freezer for your convenience. Room was clean, shower was nice. The fellow who was looking after us was very plaesant, and helpful. It was cash only, so that wasn't so great. I prefer to pay with card for hotels. No soundproofing. Heard every tiny little sound. Had really bad inconsiderate houseguests. Came in super late making crazy noise and slamming cupboards between 11pm and 1am most nights. And in the morning others would repay the favor of loud annoyance at 5-6am. Sleep was not an option with these other guests. Also Church up the street rang the bell at 7am, good morning wake-up call. no sleeping through it. deffinately a minus. We stayed 4 nights and spent our days exploring so it was a decent crash pad. beside the bad housemates. Lots of restaurants around, a few wifi/phone services. Grocery store at the train station. Good area, clean, not too many street venders, they where all by the train station. Had a good tourist service shop around the corner, selling tours and trips.

“B&B Lucky House : proche de la gare Termini”

Première surprise : pas un hôtel mais un appartement, composé de 5 chambres locatives, dans un immeuble. Pas de personnel présent. Pas de service de petit déjeuner mais une kitchenette à la disposition des clients. Biscottes, confiture, lait, café et thé...seulement!! Paiement en espèces exigé ??? Point positif : la localisation est intéressante mais la chambre sur rue est bruyante.

“Safe base”

If you are planning to spend most of your day out and about and just need a very convenient and clean place to stay then Lucky House is for you. It has the bare minimum of what is needed but is good value for all that. It would be a nice touch if the breakfast was a little bit more generous - dry biscotti and jelly are pretty much basic rations. Room was spacious, and the area is a great starting point for all the main sights and being close to the train station makes the connections extremely convenient.
