“Highly recommended bed and breakfast”

I highly recommend Le Tare mainly because of the friendly and personalized service. Upon booking, I received an email from Marianna, asking about my estimated time of arrival. Marianna likewise responded immediately to my query regarding direction to the place. Upon check in, Marianna gave me all the info I need regarding the logistics, how to get around, and recommended restaurant (a restaurant specializing in Sardinian cuisine is nearby). Breakfast starts at 7 am. But Marianna, expecting a baby soon, went out of her way to prepare a hearty breakfast for me at 6:15 am. I actually waived my breakfast, for I had an early morning flight, but Marianna insisted that I had one. Le Tare is best for a traveling group or family. It's small--five rooms, if I recall correctly--and cozy. The location is not touristy, but the metro is walking distance. When I return to Rome, I will definitely stay at Le Tare.

“Excellent accomodations”

The in-room breakfast on the semi-private patio was the best! Situated in a non-touristy area near The Vatican and the Cipro metro station. Cool, well thought out decor and the very kind staff were accommodating despite my extremely rudimentary ability to communicate in Italian.

“Same as the rest of Rome's hotels: Oddly europeanly uncofmortably charming”

We selected this hotel primarily because of the somewhat affordable price. Bed was hard. Doors were paper thin. The slightest noises seemed to reverberate through the place. 5 minute walk to Metro is a bonus.
