“great location near vatican/downtown”

The room was small and outdated but still nice and clean. The rest of the hotel was nice. The service was top-notch. Very helpful with limo service to the airport which is very far away from town. Don't bother going out to eat. The rooftop restaurant was 5 star! At $20.00 for an all you can eat gourmet meal, with a rooftop view of the city! The chef and staff would cook to your order in a nice but relaxed atmosphere. We were disappointed with other local restaurants after eating there.

“Very Impressive”

Very impressive hotel. The location was great, just a short walk from the vatican or nearest metro stop. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and polite. The rooftop terrace was beautiful and the breakfast buffet also great. Would very much so stay here again and would recomend to others.

“Friendly staff”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean. Only problem(very minor) was that we could not get an extra pillow. The roof top terrace with a view of St Peters is amazing. Breakfast very good. All the big sights within walking distance, however metro stop a couple of blocks away.

“Excellent place to stay in Rome”

Hotel was concenient to the Vatican, Sant Angelo, Spanish Steps etc. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, with the view of St Peters over the roof top - who could ask for more. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms very clean and bigger than more city hotels. All in all an excellent hotel.

This hotel is located in a very nice neighbourhood and is surronded by lots of wonderful restaurants, cafes and shopping strips. It's very central to most of the attractions we wanted to see in particular the Vatican which was only a 20 minute walk. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Each morning we enjoyed a lovely buffet breakfast on the roof top terrace which boasts some amazing views in particular the Vatican. This is definitely one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and we will definitely be going back. Thanks to everyone at Hotel Isa.

“A lovely hotel well situated to reach all of Rome's main attractions on foot.”

Hotel Isa is a lovely hotel, situated close to the Castle of Angels and therefore all of Rome's major sites and attractions are within easy walking distance. Breakfast is on the delightful roof terrace with a clear view of St Peters Basilica; dinner was delicious and is provided at a reasonable rate plus it is a wonderful venue for a late night drink. The room's are spacious and comfortable and maintained to high standard. All the staff are friendly and helpful and keen for you to enjoy both the hotel and Rome itself.

“Gorgeous Hotel”

The Hotel Isa was the best Hotel we have found in Rome. It's location was perfect to both the 'old' Rome as well as the Vatican. The room was huge, clean and beautiful. It was a pleasure and we'll definitely use again. FIVE STARS (USA standards)

“Highly Recommend”

We were very pleased with the location; It was between the Vatican and Central Rome, it was away from the congested tourist areas yet close enough to walk to main attractions. The hotel itself was smaller than other International hotels which catered to more personalized service. The best breakfast buffet ever; fresh pastries, breakfast cereals, meats, breads, cheeses, fresh squeezed juices, made-to-order eggs/omelets, and a full coffee bar. The room was a comfortable size and the Italian double bed is an American Queen-size. The room was elegant and kept spotless by housekeeping, the bathroom was modern but lacked a tub. The room was a perfect place to get away and relax after a full day of sight seeing. The staff was always courteous, helpful, and patient with our many questions.

“The best breakfast in Rome! Great hotel just minutes from St Peter's”

I booked this hotel based on the excellent reviews I read on the internet. Some older reviews lamented on the old, dingy rooms on the lower floors, however, all floors appear to be updated now and work was going on in the lobby while we were there. Our room on the 4th floor was very small, but also very clean, modern, comfortable with a/c. The hotel also had wireless internet in the rooms for a very reasonable fee, a fabulous terrace on the rooftop with lounge chairs and a great view of the neighbourhood. The breakfast spread was incredible. Excellent selection, excellent presentation and a very friendly staff. The 'bottomless' cappuccino and orange juice freshly squeezed on demand were also very nice touches. You could tell that the hotel goes out of their way to make this one of the best (if not THE best) breakfasts in Rome. We didn't pick up our rental car until after our 4 days in Rome were up...and we didn't need it. The hotel was within walking distance from the Vatican, the old historic center (Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain etc) and Villa Borghese. We took a taxi to the Colosseo early one morning to save time, but walked back after touring the Foro and Palatino. We absolutely will be returning to this hotel and will make sure our relatives and friends know about this great little gem we found. You will not be disappointed with this hotel!

“Excellent Location and Service”

The service and location of this hotel were excellent. You can eat your huge, delicious breakfast on the rooftop while looking out at the Vatican. You are able to walk to most sites and there are fantastic restaurants all around the hotel for dinner. Would definitely return here and recommend this hotel.
