“Would recommend”
Great Hotel, very clean, helpful staff only 2 mins walk from Metro (blue line). Travel to Termini in 5 mins for other routes.
“A Hidden Jewel”
I booked this hotel through Expedia, and it was absolutely perfect for us. It was off the busy street, tucked into a residential neighborhood. An excellent value, it was quaint, tidy, and I cannot praise the desk staff enough. They "do it all" including exceptional concierge services. I booked a "deluxe" standard room, based on reviews that I read noting some of the rooms were too small. It was sufficient; it had the desk needed by my companion for work on his laptop, as well as internet access. The bath had a shower and jacuzzi tub. The included breakfast was satisfying, incorporating both hot and cold choices of eggs, assorted cereals, pastries, cheeses, fruits, coffee and the like. Above all, and the primary reason I chose this particular hotel, was its placement very near a Metro station that was only two stops from Termini Station. We became experts of the Metro and bus lines in short order, which allowed us complete access to the entire city. There are few eateries nearby, but the hotel personnel directed us to a fabulous, family-run restaurant a couple of blocks away, that is enjoyed by the locals. It was so delicious, we dined there a couple of times. Our arrival was called ahead by the hotel, and we received outstanding hospitality. Without question, this lovely hotel, and the other activities we planned, sealed our visit as a true Roman Holiday.
“Tres Bien”
Tres bon rapport qualité/prix. L'Hotel est tres propre et l'accueil charmant. Il n'est peut-etre pas tres bien situe dans Rome mais est tres bien desservi par les transports publics. Le petit dejeuner sur la terrasse est tres agreable.
“Excellent Hotel”
This hotel was wonderful with great friendly and very helpful staff. The room though small was very comfortable and the breakfasts delightful. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is in a great location close to the metro and some nice local restaurants
“hotel via morgagni RME”
“Understand now why so highly recommended!”
Beautiful hotel in outside the tourist center. service was great. Recommended restaurants in the area were fabulous - and much less expensive that those in the city center. Area is quiet. Breakfast has both hot and cold foods - plus cappuccino on request. Two terraces for relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine from the bar. We loved it!
“Calme et confort - une bonne adresse”
Hotel parfait pour 3 jours de tourisme à Rome. Confortable et calme la nuit (en retrait de la route). Un peu excentré mais 100m du métro. Bon accueil. Petit déjeuner en terrasse agréable et de bonne qualité ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas en Italie. Nous recommandons.
“Very Nice”
I believe our room may have been a little larger than some of the others; it was plenty large enough for us. The breakfast was great. There's at least one nice little restaurant (trattoria) within 2 blocks of the hotel, with good Italian food, and a nice appetizer buffet (at least they had one the night we were there). The restaurant staff was a little pushy about getting you to order wine, though. The staff at the hotel can give you directions to the restaurant. Also, there are lots of inexpensive places to eat around the train station, which is only 2 stops away, on the Metro.
“Great value for the price”
The hotel is situated outside the city walls, but is very close to a metro stop. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop breakfast offers a gorgeous view and was satisfying. We stayed in a 'double deluxe' room and it was very spacious for a European hotel. When our taxi driver dropped us off he said, 'This is a good area! Italians live here!' There is a cafe across the street with very reasonable prices and an ATM and pharmacy nearby. One negative of this hotel was you had to use the metro (or you could walk, but it was quite far), but that was certainly manageable. Also, a hospital or police station seems to be nearby, so you had to get used to the sirens. The internet (which you pay for) was barely responsive enough to check email. However, the room was beautiful and the stay very pleasant. Given the quality of the room, you could easily pay 100 euro more for a downtown "touristy" motel. This place was really quite the value!
“All around excellent with no complaints!”
My husband and I stayed at the hotel villa morgagni for 5 nights while we were vacationing in Rome. The hotel staff were so nice. The room was very clean and elegant. The bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast every morning was pretty good. Very close to the metro station and gives you a great local feeling of Rome! I would definitely stay here again.
