“Would stay again!”
The Hotel was just wonderful. Close to different modes of Transportation and easy to find. The breakfast was just wonderful also and I loved the view from the top floor. If ever in Rome again, I would stay at the Hotel Torino again. We loved it.
“good location”
the hotel was very clean & updated. it was very close to the metro and the train station, so very convenient for getting around in the city itself. not really right on top of the major tourist places, but like i said, convenient for transportation
“Great Value”
Staff were great, room comfortable and clean. Good facilities in the room. Great location, near the main termini, good restaurants close by. I would return without hesitation.
“Great Rome Hotel”
Great place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. The location is decent. It is a great place to crash after a long day of exploring Rome.
“Excellent location!!”
This hotel is really good value and is in a great location! It is 2 blocks from the main Termini station, and within walking distance of many of the major tourist attractions in Rome. Our room was clean and tidy and had a very reasonably priced mini bar. The hotel staff were friendly, but not so great with English unfortunately! The complimentary breakfast was really good, and had lots of variety!
“Hotel Torino”
The hotel was comfortable, clean and not too expensive with the package. It was in a great location, close to both metro lines and the Termini bus station and had lots of great restaurants around it that were not too expensive. One downside--it was in a really busy area, lots of cars and traffic.
“Good for the price”
The biggest complaint I could say about Hotel Torino is the tiny shower in the room, and that the phones in the hotel didn't work for 3 days and the staff didn't seem to mind at all.
“Some good, some not so good”
The Hotel Torino is an easy walk from Roma Termini, the main train station. This means it is convenient to bus and metro, so if your vacation includes using public transportation, the location is excellent. The "lobby bar" is not operational...there is a bar just as in the photos, but it isn't open...ever. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. Our room was large and the fixtures modern. The breakfast service is very good...it was indoors due to the weather, but the outdoor area looks nice as well. For the price, it was a good value.
“Good deal”
We liked this hotel. The breakfast choices are substantial, the room was clean, the location is great if you are arriving at Stazione Termini.
“An acceptable hotel”
The hotel is very close to the Termini station but on a fairly quiet (for Rome!) side street. The hotel staff especially the desk porters were great. I had notified them of our late arrival (0130hrs) and was greeted by name when we arrived. A nice touch. They always had a friendly smile and were pleased to help answer any questions. Our room had a lived in feel but was clean and warm. Bed linen and towels were changed every day. Breakfast on the 7th floor was a cold buffet which was fine. The hot chocolate and cappuccino were great. Unfortunately it was too cold and wet to be able to enjoy the roof terrace. The main centre attractions were within easy walking distance once we found our bearings. Even the Vatican was only about 40 minutes away on foot. There are plenty of local restaurants if you do not want to venture far in the evenings. There may be better hotels around, but we were happy with our stay. We would love to return to Rome someday and would consider using the hotel again.
