“satisfaction guaranteed!!!!!!!!!”

we chose this hotel at an internet cafe in marseille at the very last minute. We only had the reviews to go by and had no idea what to expect....after a long overnight train ride where the air conditioning broke down, we arrived to this place and were greeted with a warm welcome. he staff are friendly and the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious with tall ceilings and modern decor. there are balconnies in most of the rooms with access from wooden french doors. The bathrooms are bright and clean with all the amenities you need.....great breakfast and clean hotel. Definitly a place to come back to....the only downside is that you have to take a bus into central rome, it is about a fifteen minute ride if the traffic is good but honestly the location is worth it as it is quiet and feels pretty safe. Check out the chinese resteraunt arount the corner to the right...it has great authentic food for 2-3 euros per dish..we loved it and ate there alot!!!!

“Good Hotel”

The hotel itself was very nice - a bit of a walk away from the subway stop though. It's pretty much located on a university campus and you can use the campus cafeteria next door, but no one spoke English there. The Good: Nice and Clean Hotel - looks very new Great Staff - very helpful The Bad: Small Italian Shower The Electricity Shut Off - the room key activates the electricity inside the room, therefore when you're not in the room there is no power, which is frustrating when you want to leave your devices to charge. Overall a very nice experience, definitely recommend.

“Never again”

We expected the beds to be small and uncomfortable, but the room was horrible. Really small - the size of a single but meant for 2ppl (the twin beds took up the entire width of the room) a desk and mirror almost taken up by a tv which didn't work (they would save valuable room space if they just took them out entirely) and the bathroom shower stall (less than 22in wide - we measured) had mold growing inside. Had we wanted a 3* in a dodgier part of town, we would have been happy. The metro is a 15min walk away and those 15 minutes feel like an eternity when you're walking past hookers and their potential clients. We switched to cabs after our first night's journey home (at reasonably early 1030pm) and even the cab drivers warned us to be careful as it is not a safe neighbourhood when night falls. Which would have been FINE, had we not been expecting a better hotel in a better area. On a positive note (there are but 3) the breakfast was lovely, the evening desk staff were informative (the woman who behaved like the daytime manager was incredibly rude and in no way helpful) and the metro (Sao Paolo) is already on the Lido line if one wants to escape to the sea.
