“Excellent on all counts!”
Convenient and safe location, lovely entrance and sitting rooms, beautiful and super-clean room, adequate breakfast, helpful staff. Although the bed seemed in very good condition and felt comfortable, it was soft and I had a stiff back each morning.
“Affordable, good, clean, location excellent hotel”
We checked in at about 2pm. Our room was ready. The room was clean and very spacious. The hotel is in a perfect walking location to all major attractions and transportation hubs. All the staff were helpful and polite and speak english. We had a great time in Rome and that was made better by the excellent service and excellent location of this hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
“The Hotel is Beautiful and Location is Perfect!”
We had a great time in Rome. The hotel was in the perfect location. We walked everywhere except the Vatican. We asked the front desk the best way to get to the Vatican and they directed us to the undergound. We took the underground which was great. If you go to the Vatican, don't waste time standing in line forever to get in! There are people walking around asking if you want to join a guided tour which is only 45 Euros each. It was worth it! We went right in so we did not have to wait in line for 3 hours. We got a great tour and didn't have to wait in that horrible line to get in. It's worth going see the Vatican. All the other sites were awesome also! If we go back to Rome we will stay at this hotel again!
“A Happy Birthday in Rome”
The hotel is situated very close to the main rail terminal and this makes it very easy to access from both airports and ensures that you can walk to all the main sights that Rome has to offer. I booked a superior double room to ensure my wife had a great treat for her birthday, and we were not disappointed. The view from the window was nothing special, but the room was comfortable, quiet and very clean. The decor was relaxing, the bed comfortable and the bathroom large and clean. We found the staff friendly and we enjoyed a nice meal out on the terrace. We were lucky with the weather and sat in the garden after dinner and enjoyed listening to the pianist. Breakfast offered a good selection and we were sorry to leave after our 3-night break.
“Great time had by all”
Wanted a special hotel and venue for my 30th Wedding Anniversary which coincided with my youngest son's 25th birthday. We have been to Rome before so the venue choice was easy because the city is just wonderful. I agonised for a long time about hotel choice as all seemed to have mixed reviews. I finally plumped for the Quirinale, which seemed to have a mix of quality and value - we and could not have made a better choice. We booked three rooms for a long weekend for myself and my wife and both sons and their partners. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable with ours being especially nice as it overlooked the garden. The staff were very helpful and the grandeur of the hotel impressed all of us. For our anniversary and birthday celebration we decided to book a table at the restaurant overlooking the garden. The meal was excellent as good as any restaurant we had used in Rome and the prices were not that different to external restaurants. The evening finished on a high with the entrance of a birthday cake with sparkler flaring, which had been specially made by the chef. We cannot thank the staff in the restaurant enough for making our celebration so good. We ate in the restaurant on a subsequent evening and we were impressed again by the quality value and service. Well done Quirinale we would recommend you to anyone who wants to enjoy a luxury break in Rome.
“A very fine hotel.”
This hotel is very convenient for central Rome. Transport is excellent with buses outside the front door and Terminii rail and bus stations only a few hundred yards away. Breakfast is available on a patio. We did not take any other meals there. Staff were friendly and helpful.
“Excellent Hotel in Rome”
The hotel location is great you have all transportations near (bus, subway, touristic bus), the rooms are very big and confortable, the continental breakfast is very good, in general, the hotel is very nice. I recommend totaly this hotel.
“Booking again”
First class position for sire-seeing by foot, bus or Metro. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel bar had a weekend promotion which was better than local bars and restaurants
“Long weekend in Rome”
We booked the Hotel Quirinale as part of a package through Expedia. We were extremely pleased with the hotel and location in downtown. The hotel was wonderful from our room, to the staff etc.... It is a traditional style hotel. Our room had high ceilings, a huge bathroom, crystal chandelier and even a flat screen tv. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone traveling to Rome.
“Would definitely stay again!”
Fantastic hotel. Great room and amenities, friendly staff who all spoke excellent English. The location was central and an ideal base for walking to all of the sites of Rome. Although situated on a main road it was incredibly quiet and as soon as you stepped in the foyer it was a world away from the busy streets outside. The buffet breakfast was excellent - the best we've experienced in Italy. If we go back to Rome, this would definitely be our hotel of choice to stay in again.
