“Great hotel for the price”

Great place for the price. Just to be clear, this is not a 5-star hotel. Nothing fancy; older building, linoleum room floors, antique elevator, could use some paint, bathroom could use updating. But you're not paying five-star prices either. Our room was very clean, and it was big for old-style europe standards. Breakfast was nice, and the top-floor breakfast terrace was charming. Andrea the concierge-guy was really great. What you get is a well-priced, clean and friendly place in a perfect location -- literally 4 blocks from the Spanish Steps. If I were paying five-star prices, I wouldn't be happy with the Pincio. But, at less than half of that, it's a great deal. We'll stay at Hotel Pincio again.
