“Milton Roma”

Milton Roma is a really lovely hotel to stay in. It's in an incredibly convenient location. It's a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum, 10 minutes to the Basilica of St. Giovanni in Laterano and about 15 minutes to the Basilica of St. Mary Maggiore - 2 of the major basilicas in Rome. The metro is directly across the street and makes it really easy to get around the city. The staff are fantastic. They are incredibly helpful and willing to answer questions anytime. The breakfast is a vast spread from cereals, to bread and meats, to cakes and fruit - really good selection. I would recommend this to anyone. I had a small room but that served me since it was just me using it. The room was cleaned everyday and I was only really using it in the evening to sleep since there's so much to see and do around Rome. This is one of the best holiday experiences I've had.

it was the best experience to start with the gentleman at the front desk name Fabio he was so helpfull and friendly and the rest of the staff as well the hotel in the best location close to most of the main sites and the subway ,stores, restaurants, even the movie teather also i have to say that they have the best pillows

“In Rome for the Marathon”

Pleasant and efficient reception. Well appointed clean and bright public areas. Single room small but adequate and very comfortable. Quiet, on side away from road with reasonably open outlook over secure car park. Other facilities in the room are an electronic safe, free WiFi connection and a fridge with a small range of drinks and snacks. There were no facilities for coffee or tea making. Breakfast buffet very extensive with cereals, yoghourt and wide selection of bread and cakes. Limited hot selection of scrambled eggs and grilled bacon. The hotel is run basically on a bed-and-breakfast basis. the dining room does not provide lunches or evening meals. A limited range of snacks is available in the evening from small bar which is only open from 19:00 to midnight. Hotel is ideally placed for runners in the Maratona di Roma, and for visits to the Colisseum and other ancient sites. It is right next to a Metro station, a tram line and several bus routes.

“Excellent Rome option!”

We absolutely loved this hotel! The service was excellent, the location superb and the breakfast was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable. Other reviews made mention of problems with the Internet, but I didn't have any problems at all. The front desk staff gladly provided an ethernet patch cable to me and I was online in minutes in the room. WiFi worked in the lobby. Our friends stayed nearby in a much more expensive hotel and were very disappointed. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and plan on staying here on our next trip to Rome.

“Friendly Staff”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Milton Roma. The staff was very friendly and our room was clean and comfortable. The Colosseum and Forum were nearby as well as San Giovanni and Santa Maria Maggiore, but the heart of Rome was a bit farther. Still walkable though, it is also right at a metro stop so transportation is easy. There are some good restaurants, etc. in the neighborhood, but it is more quiet and subdued. Merulana is a street about a block from the hotel that was a bit livelier. Overall great stay. I would definitely stay here again.

“Excellent hotel”

Hotel Milton was excellent. Very friendly and helpful front-desk staff. Breakfast buffet was very generous, varied and kept freshly prepared. The hotel is in a conventient location for the Coliseum etc. and the Metro is literally on the doorstep, as is a convenient bus stop. The room was quite small but many hotel rooms in Rome do tend to be on the small side. There was a minor problem with the shower stall being so small that it was impossible to stop water from getting on the bathroom floor - but it was more of a minor inconvenience than anything else. Bed was very comfortable with great pillows. Great deli just across the street which was fantastic for picnic fare! Definitely would visit again.

“Très bon hôtel”

A 10 minutes à pied du Colisée et 5 secondes du métro pour des escapades vers le centre de Rome (aussi réalisables à pied!) et le Vatican (entre autres), cet hôtel nous a beaucoup plu. Personnel très accueillant et parlant anglais, des chambres propres, bref point de départ idéal pour un séjour réussi.

“WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE”

Very convienient 1min walk to tube station. 10min walk to Colloseum. Nice Cafes and restaurants absolutely amazing staff. Unfortunately it was raining when we went there, but the staff provided us with Umbrellas.

“Will stay here again!!!!”

This hotel is within walking distance to the Colluseum and there is a Metro station accross the street which will take you to the Vatican, Spanish steps and other attractions. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was included and was amazing!

“A great find in Rome”

Really impressed. Great breakfast. Friendly service. Comfortable room and great value. It is right next to Manzoni Metro station which gives you a great platform for viewing the city's many attractions.
