“More than we expected”
We did a lot of side trips by train (and subway), so the location near the train station was very convenient. Our room was recently remodeled and quite nice. They served a full breakfast. Free internet in the lobby. We had a triple and the single bed was in its own, albeit small, room. This was a nice and unexpected surprise.
“Perfect location for discovering Rome”
We stayed in a standard room which was generally clean and had everything we needed. Room service was available with a 2euro surcharge which we didnt use. Breakfast was the usual fare of cold meats, cereal, fruit and bacon and eggs. Staff were helpful and provided a free map of the area which was indispensable! We walked almost everywhere but its proximity to Termini was a godsend when we arrived after a double flight! If you feel up to it walking is the way forward as you see all kinds of things that havent made it to the guidebook but are beautiful all the same. Would definitely stay again. Only downside was a patch of mildew above the shower but that was no big deal. Its definitely worth taking tour of the colosseum, costs around 20 euros but we got a guided tour of the colosseum and palatine hill. This is more than worth the money and you jump the queue which was at least an hours wait!
“Good central location”
Very convienient for both Metro lines, the bus services, and the rail terminus from the airport. The number 75 terminus is at the end of the street and will take you right into the heart of Trastervere. Being near the rail terminus there are a lot of people sleeping rough in the area but we never felt threatened or intimidated. There was always a police presence around the station. We never had any breakfast at the hotel, preferring to make our own arrangements, so we can't really comment on the quality. There are plenty of good snack bars in the area which will serve a panini and a coffee which is all we wanted. I don't feel I can recomend any of the reastaurants in the area for evening meals but we discovered that by taking a short walk down to the San Lorenzo area the restaurants are less crowded and the quality of the service and the food is much better. Generaly we found the hotel to be very comfortable and the staff very helpful and obliging. We would certainly stay there again.
“Excellent Stay”
This hotel was great. The staff were all super friendly and accomodating. The american style buffet breakfast was very good and was definitely better than what we expected. Nice sized room, although we had to push the two single beds together at night - not a big deal. We also had our own bathroom (including toilet seat - which we discovered is scarce in public facilities!). The hotel had free internet (although someone messed it up the last couple of days when we were there). One block from Termini (central station) makes this hotel great for getting around the city very quickly. Some nice little restaurants, and internet cafes just up the street - but avoid the very sketchy laundry shop that doesn't fold your clothes for you. Overall a great location and extremely pleasant stay.
“We would be happy to stay here again”
The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the main railway and bus stations. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was excellent, with spa bath, satellite TV, electric shutters, air con, mini bar, safe, and a large, firm double-bed. Breakfast was plentiful, with efficient staff and a good selection of cereals, meat, cheese, pastries etc. The hotel staff were friendly, with a good grasp of english. The neighbouring streets contain many pavement restaurants and bars. There are also internet cafes nearby which helps with online checking in for return flights. The termini railway station nearby has a great selection of shops - perfumes, toys, clothes, general supplies, fast food etc. We took one of the open-top bus rides from Piazza dell 'Esquilino on our first day. The journey lasted 2 hours, and travelled to The Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Circus Maximus, Forum, St Peters Square, Castel S. Angelo, etc.
“Would recommend to all”
Located close to Termini Station, it is an excellent hotel if you want to travel throughout Italy. Close to all buses and the metro, the Hotel seems to have been recently renovated. The room was extremely conmfortable and large by European standards with full bathroom. The breakfast had a large selection of options all very well prepared and presented. Staff was courtious and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rome.
“good location”
the hotel was ideal for the price we paid, good location for the station, metro and buses and walking distance to some attractions. friendly staff and the beer is cheaper in the hotel bar than in the bars around the area. some good places to eat nearby and not pricey. Breakfast was of a good standard with plenty to offer. would go back again and would recommend to stay here.
“happy with hotel”
We booked 2 rooms, both were small but adequate. Both were cleaned well every day, bedlinen changed and bathroom cleaned and re-stocked. The only thing which would have made it perfect would have been tea/coffee making facilities and slightly larger rooms but for 3* we were very happy. The breakfast buffet was worth the money with all of us (including 2 teenage children) were able to find plenty to eat and enjoy! Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. It's location made it ideal as a base for sight seeing - the large golden statue mounted up high on the nearby church was a useful landmark to find our way back to the hotel!

“Nice Hotel, Good location”
Hotel is close to the train station, and very easy to find. Its on a side street so quiet at night. Room was clean and tidy, only minor complaint was only one english channel on TV, but as i was there to see the city so not really a problem. Single bed I booked was small and was bit hard, but that appears to be standard for Italy after speaking to friends who have stayed elsewhere.
