Accueil agréable à notre disposition pour tout renseignement petit déjeuner convenable, restaurants à proximité Proche des lieux touristiques grace à la gare Termini avec ses bus, trams et métros Prix corrects ( pas trop élevés ) pour une bonne situation Nous y retournerons lors de notre prochain séjour ....

“Good base for Rome”

Very comfortable hotel with good cental location. Extremely friendly staff who are happy to help. An ideal place to stay for a short break in Rome.

“bien situé, très correct, quelques réserves”

Les réserves, c'est le côté bruyant des séchoirs (à cheveux et extracteurs d'humidité dans les salles de bain)dans cet hôtel ne disposant pas d'aération naturelle des salles d'eau. On entend bien ceux des voisins. la sonorisation interne laisse donc à désirer, en revanche les fenêtres des chambres sont étanches, ce qui valait mieux compte tenu des travaux dans la cour! Mais donc une vue immonde et impossibilité d'ouvrir tranquillement sa fenêtre. En revanche la proximité de la gare ne nuit pas, l'hôtel donne sur une petite place arborée, très calme. Bien situé en centre ville entre gare et principales attractions touristiques.Accueil et service plutôt standard, mais agréable. Bon confort, bonne literie, chambres spacieuses, bien équipées et propres, sanitaires impeccable. Pas de table si besoin de travailler.

Hotel is 2 minutes walk from main railway station, great if you have luggage! If you are arriving by air, their is a fast non-stop rail service (the Leonardo Express),11 euros, every 30 mins and takes 30 mins to the centre of Rome which is the station located near to the hotel. The area around the hotel is covered with graffiti, but so is the whole of Rome, even the Collisseum. Our room was quite large, clean and comfortable. Safety deposit box was free with a refundable deposit. Toiletries in shower room ok. Air conditioning was only a portable unit that struggled all night to keep the temp down (it was July, 35 deg). Room was very quiet with the double glazed windows shut. I would normally expect traffic noise in Rome but not the case here. Breakfast was simple but adequate; choice of 2 juices, 2 cereals, rolls and croissants, tea or coffee. Eating out is limited to 6 restaurants locally (within 5 mins walk) but all were reasonably priced with good choice menus. Plenty of transport links at the station if you wish to venture further afield. Rome has a number of tourist 'hop-on, hop-off' buses to get you around as walking can be hot and dusty. The Metro gets to most tourist attractions but is not as extensive as, say, London. It only has 2 lines. The price is 1 euro for 75 minutes journey duration. This means you can get to any place of choice for 1 euro each way.

“Great value”

I was very pleased with Hotel Mariano. It was just a few minutes walk from the train and metro station, and the hotel and rooms were very clean and quite well kept. It was about 1 km from the Colosseum, and the sights that were not walking distance away were easily accessible by the metro. The hotel is not in the fanciest neighbourhood in Rome, but that meant that there were many inexpensive but tasty restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again!

Petit week-end prolongé de 4 jours. Arrivés à l'aéroport de Fiumicino, 40 mn de la gare Termini et à quelques pas de l'hôtel. L'accueil y était plutôt simple et agréable. La chambre, bien que petite était très propre. Pas super bien insonorisée (groupe d'ados hurlants arrivés 2 jrs après nous....) mais agréable pour la nuit. Le petit déjeuner (continental) est simple et pas trop mauvais. L'hôtel dans sa globalité, est impeccablement propre (en tous cas, de ce que j'en ai vu). Très bien placé pour les visites des différents sites, qui, si on aime marcher, se trouvent à des distances très acceptables ! Bon séjour.

“Close to train station”

We were only here for one night as we got in late and left early, but the hotel was easy to find and VERY close to the main train station. about 3 minutes walking. Our room was noisy as it faced the street and it sounded like there was a group of men outside all night talking. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was sufficient. I think, had we stayed longer, i may have felt a little uncomfortable walking around the area at night, but I am a female and was travelling with my mum. The staff were great and the hotel has an elevator.

“Good location”

Very good location, close to Termini. Rooms are basic but very clean and tidy. Welcome reception. Breakfast basic but plenty of other places to eat within close location.

séjour de 4 nuits dans cet hôtel : chambre fraichement rénovée donc super état. spacieuse, lumineuse avec vue sur la place. salle de bain impeccable. accueil excellent et de bon conseil. à 5 min de la gare termini et donc de tous les transports en commun. petit déjeuner très bien: cafés excellents. rien à dire : hôtel que je recommande et je suis prêt à y revenir.
