“Excellent stay”
We stayed at this hotel in May 2010 for 3 nights and i must stay we had the best possible service from the staff at the hotel. We had a nice clean room and the hotel is located in a convenient location in the business district of Rome. Within walking distance of all the main sites and near the fashionable Via Veneto. You are within 10/15 mins max of the Trevi fountain and about 20 mins from Colloseum. The breakfast provided was a continentl breakfast and kept us full throughout most the the morning and early afternoon. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere convenient, affordable and with great service.
“Classy and comfortable in a quiet location”
Stayed here for two nights, and were impressed. The room was a good size, up-to-date and clean. Large bed - no pushed together twins here! - and extremely comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout, and gave us recommendations to two excellent restaurants within 5 minute walks. Rate included a very nice breakfast and wifi, which added to the convenience factor. Hotel also arranged a car to airport for us at a reasonable flat-rate. Location is east of Via Veneto in area of government buildings, adjacent to Horti Sallustiani. About 15-20 minute walk to Termini station, 10-15 to either Barberini or Repubblica. Far enough away to be very quiet in the evenings, but close enough to not waste a lot of time getting places. Will definitely look at this hotel for future trips to Rome.
“A gem”
The hotel is in a quiet location, rooms are spacious and the quality of attendance outstanding. For a small hotel, four immaculately attired waiters at breakfast indicates the level of customer care. Costs were as expected, in the hotel cheap...snacks taken before leaving were substantial and we weren't charged for the water used from the fridge. A late request for changing facilities prior to an afternoon check out was met by an extention to our room use until 2pm... without charge. There is a bit of a walk to the nearest metro, but considering all other factors, this is a hotel which I would recommend to anyone. Maybe it should be kept a secret?!
“Quiet, great location, modern amenities”
The location is just outside of central rome, but an 15-minute walk to piazza republica & termini station. We took a train to the Colosseum, Florence & another day to Frascati. So access to Termini was great without dealing with all the noise that's by the station. Ended up taking a cab to vatican due to a strike of the Metro - so be sure to check with the front desk, they'll keep you posted.Vatican is accessible by train too. It has all the modern amenities including wi-fi. The room and bathroom was a good size with a King size. They had breakfast everyday (included in your reservation) which also helped us save money. It was a pretty good selection of food. Front desk staff spoke English very well. They were all helpful in mapping out directions for us, calling for a cab or car service. Bell & waitstaff were all friendly - most speak English too. We found a darling restaurant...nothing fancy, but they were so friendly and the food was great. It's called Ristorante La Cantinola - if you like seafood, get the clams in white wine sauce & the sea bass. It's on Via Calabria. Definitely recommend it! Hotel Londra was a little more expensive than others but worth it because we felt so comfortable during our visit. I hope we get another opportunity to go to Rome again and if we do, we'll stay here.
“Belissimo!”
Husband and I loved this hotel. It was our last stop over before heading back home and we found the staff very helpful in assisting us with directions. Breakfast was great, especially the coffee. We hope to stay there again in the future.
“"Can't wait to go back"”
The family is already planning our trip back to Rome and the hotel of choice is the Hotel Londra and Cargill. The staff is profesional and efficient beyond comprehension. The rooms are kept clean, spacious and air conditioned to the max. The staff is discrete and respects the privacy of their guests. This hotel is a little gem tucked away in Rome and we would reccomend it to anyone visiting the eternal city. An additional bonus is that it is in the vicinity of a number of restaurants, cafes and one of the best gelato shops in Rome. Visit the Hotel Londra and Cargill in Rome and you will not regret it.

Trés bon rapport qualité prix, Hotel trés agréable et confortable
“Italian hospitality at it's best!”
From the moment we entered the door accompanied by a warm welcome the staff immediately wanted to help us plan our days. From the front desk, bar, to the bellman and dining staff, all were so accommodating and eager to please. Speaking no Italian was no problem at all. Our room was spotless, quiet, and plenty spacious. The location wasn't a quick walking distance of many attractions and , but also a short cab ride. You could walk if you really had to. I would never hesitate staying there again.
“Loved it!”
My husband and I stayed at this hotel last week for the start of our Italy trip (Rome, Capri and Venice). The neighborhood is wonderful with many fabulous restaurants nearby, it's in a safe area, and the hotel staff are great and extremely helpful, kind, and they speak English well. The breakfast is complimentary, and we found it to be delicious! It's not a hot breakfast, but the meats, cheeses, and pastries are so tasty! It was our best hotel breakfast between the 3 hotels we stayed at. You cannot go wrong with this hotel! My husband and I also found out that Delta prefers their employees stay at this hotel because of the great service and safe neighborhood. :)
“Very nice hotel at a decent price - for Rome!”
Quiet location with a few restaurants within easy walk, although we only tried one in the immediate area. 10 mins walk from Barberini Fountain (Tritone) and Via Veneto area (so not very far from there onwards to Trevi Fountain / Spanish Steps). Remember Rome is on hills though so it's uphill back to the hotel (not steep though). Friendly and helpful staff with excellent english. Tasty breakfast - cold buffet of breads, meats, cheese, cereals, fruits and cakes. Breakfast staff always available for coffee/ tea/ cappucino etc. Would stay there again unless a comparable hotel around Via Nazionale area came up with a decent price. Lovely stay!
