“Great value”
Very clean, attentive staff, efficient check in and out; nice soundproofed window to the street that opened up to a small balcony. Very nice for the price. Would highly recommend.
“Great stay in Rome!”
La Residenza delivered everything that we were hoping for as per the previous Expedia's reviews! The hotel has a great location to get around everywhere in Rome, near metro stations and a couple of blocks from one of the stops of sightseeing buses. The via Veneto is just a block away for great evening and night strolls in avery nice and secure environment! The hotel is extremely well kept and the rooms are extremely comfortable (we were a 9 people group in 3 rooms with a 7 night stay, all in different floors but all of them in pristine condition), including a very good size bathroom with all the amenities. The staff is mostly nice and professional and the breakfast is as good as advertised to provide a great start everyday. The lobby is very nice and the rooms had internet access which was slow but useful. Would definitely stay there again since its a very good option for the proce!
“A real find in Rome”
La Residenza provided 9 wonderful nights in Rome. This was our third extended stay in Rome, and we have always stayed in this same area, near the Borghese Gardens right off the Via Veneto. The location was very convenient to walk to many major sights including The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Termini Station. The area is elegant and we felt safe coming back late in the evening. The room condition was excellent. A/C works very well (particularly important on those very warm Rome nights). Everything worked as it was supposed to work. The staff was extremely pleasant, courteous and very helpful. Breakfast options offered anything one could want. We know we won't stay anywhere else.
“really great hotel in Rome”
Great breakfast buffet - very nice rooms - the people at the front desk were very helpful recommended restaurants, arranged for car to the airport - all around great hotel - very homey and personal (unlike large chain hotels)
“Fabulous and comfortable stay in Rome”
Very impressed with this small, private and beautiful hotel in Rome! My friend and I could not recommend anywhere better to stay. Staff friendly and always helpful. Room always clean and it was spacious. Free wifi in downstairs lounge. Buffet breakfast was very nice, with a massive selection to choose from! Close to walk to all main attractions- Spanish steps 5-10 min walk. Very safe area. I would stay here again and recommend it to close family and friends! Can't fault it, it deserves it's 4 star rating.
“Would return”
A great location, well maintained hotel and an excellent breakfast. Staff was friendly and courteous, room was large as was the bathroom facilities. Had a front street facing room which had a little noise at night from the club across the street. Checking out was slight issue on charges that wan't correct but resolved.
“Great Small Hotel”
We totally enjoyed this small 29 room hotel.A fruit bowl was in our room as well as bottled water on arrival. A mini frig was stocked with alcoholic beverages and bottled water and snacks. The free morning breakfast buffet was very good with a griddle for eggs, etc and lots of fruit and cereals. On Sat. nights they have free cocktail hour with a full bar set up and hors'dors. They had a harpist playing too which set the mood. The livingroom area was beautifully decorated with leather furniture. The rooms were quiet and temperature comfortable with quiet air conditioning. The beds were very firm but OK. Bathroom had a bidet, tub with shower and a sink and toilet. We had 2 twins made up into a King size. The room was quite ample in size with a TV which we could get 3-4 stations in English. . They arranged a limo to the airport with lots of room for our 4 large suitcases. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Great hotel”
This hotel was charming in every way, from the spacious room to the helpful staff who, by the way, were all fluent in English. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We had a junior suite which included a little terrace and although our room was on the street, it was not noisy at night. I would recommend getting a junior suite, because after talking to some of the other guests, I understand some of the regular rooms can be quite small. The hotel is about 1 block from the Via Veneto, and close to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. It also is in walking distance (if you have stamina) from all the other major attractions.
“4 scottish ladies - July 2005”
Excellent for the price. This hotel was well situated away from traffic but just off the Via Veneto. Lovely breakfast. Nice helpful staff. Even a complimentary cocktail party on the Saturday, when staff dressed in their best outfits and treated us like royalty. A very pleasant stay.
“Great break”
Really helpful staff and a good breakfast. Huge bed! Excellent area to stay in. Easy to reach from Termini station. Metro and plenty of buses very close.
