“Still Charmed after Second Stay”
Hotel Fontana has stayed true to its charm even 10 years later. The check in and service are great, especially given this is a small hotel that faces the Trevi Fountain. Their superb location could easily lead them to be indifferent to their clients. But they aren't. They arranged our taxi to the airport the next morning at a pre-agreed on price. They also arranged for a driver to take us on a personal "Rome by Night" drive. I expected an hour, but had two hours filled with beautiful vistas and lights. Breakfast was sufficient and comparable to other Italian hotels. It is served upstairs in a small room that overlooks the fountain. Room was smallish, but this is a small hotel with limited floor space. Room was comfortable and clean.

“Good Hotel, Great Location”
I spent 3 nights at the Hotel Fontana two weeks ago. It was perfect. The location can't be beat for seeing everything in Rome by foot, and for a safe location. The hotel itself was pretty basic, but clean. It certainly had everything I needed. My room faced the fountain, on the 4th floor. The window cancelled out most of the night noise and the view was amazing. I heard more from the couple in the next room than from outside. Fortunately, I always travel with earplugs either way. I would recommend this hotel!

Petit hotel cosy face à la fontaine de Trévi. Le petit déjeuné se prend au dernier étage avec vu sur la fontaine! Tout aurait été parfait si la deventure de l'hotel n'avait pas été en rénovation car du coup, pas de vu sauf sur l'échaffaudage...

Exactly what we expected of this lovely building.It was superb to eat breakfast overlooking the Trevi Fountain. Double room at the rear was spacious with beautiful beams, we loved it even though both of us cracked our heads on the beams more than once!Excellent location and very helpful staff.

hotel tres bien situé en plein centre de Rome, face à la fontaine de Trévi.Très agréable, personnel charmant, petit déjeuner copieux servi en buffet.Et contrairement à ce que l'on peut croire pas du tout bruyant... A conseiller pour un week end à Rome à pied car à proximité de tout.

Very nice hotel in excellent location. Breakfast buffet is very nice with lots of choices. Very closed to all major attractions, restaurants etc. If you might have problem at night with the water noise from the fountain, ask for a room w/out the fountain view.
“Wonderful Visit”
A really charming hotel. We stayed in the back away from the fountain and I would say this is the best. You don't want the lights and noise and you have as much access to the roof garden as you need for full fountain emersion.
