A charming, friendly experiencePosted 7-Oct-2014
Pros: All staff were very helpful and friendly. I really enjoy walking, so proximity to so many highlights as well as to the train station were perfect.
Cons: Maybe double glazing on the rooms that face the road.
Location: Close to many Rome attractions (walking distance).
A short cab ride from Roma Termini train station, the hotel is on a busy street, but the entry is a lovely garden with outdoor furniture and water features that provide a wonderful oasis of calm after a busy day exploring Rome. There are many tourist highlights within walking distance and tour buses also pick up from the hotel. Excellent breakfast and really friendly, helpful staff. Small rooms and road noise may be an issue depending on your room's location - but the trade off is very reasonable pricing and the garden setting.

Lovely hotelPosted 16-Jul-2014
Pros: Outdoor garden area was nice to sit and read or eat take away pizza! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Hotel not too big and had homely feel.
Cons: The bathroom in our room could do with tidying up (rust staining on wall tiles and loose shower fitting and shower door)
Location: Only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. Metro station was just a few streets away and the Termini was not too far. Good restaurants nearby.
Enjoyed our stay at this hotel it was far enough away from the city centre that (apart from road noise) the area was quiet at night. Staff were really friendly and helpful whenever we had a question. There was a fantastic take away pizza place just round the corner from the hotel and we were able to sit out in the hotel garden and eat our dinner on a couple of evenings which was nice. We also found there were several restaurants within easy walking distance all of whom served good food at reasonable prices. With the metro, colosseum and termini station just short walks away everything was reached easily, we found this hotel to be an ideal base for a short break in Rome.

Very cute decor with nice garden. Convenient location. 5-10 minutes walk to metro and 2 minutes to tran. Got a free bottle of spritz for "check-in" special on foursquare.

Good location in quiet but accessible spotPosted 26-Jun-2014
Pros: the staff, the decor, the building, the cleanliness, the location were all impressive
Cons: i honestly can't think of anything that could improve this hotel
Location: location is tranquil and out of the hustle and noise but near enough to access all areas of rome especially if you use manzoni metro station.
well situated within walking distance of collosseum and surroundings. Authentic roman style looking hotel with lovely interior. decent buffet continental style breakfast with the bonus of scrambled eggs and bacon. room was very clean and light and bright with a contemporary yet traditional feel, really nice mixture and well thought out with unusual impressive artwork on the walls. Use the nearby and easy to understand metro station to get around , cheap and convenient, manzoni metro station is a 5-10 minute walk and most of the main attractions once you arrive at the appropriate station are never more than a 15 minute walk away ( and i walk with a stick ). Would definitely recommend this hotel

good position, nice areaPosted 19-Jun-2014
Pros: as above plus lovely outside area to sit in.
Cons: family room for 4, just bed issue.
Location: good location, walking distance of Coliseum, metro service good to other areas.
thought hotel was great, a bit quirky, as good in real life as in the pictures, in fact the breakfast area was nicer than it looked. Hotel staff were generally very good, 2 of the 3 we dealt with were very friendly & helpful, other one a bit surly! room really lovely, great shower. bed in 2nd room was a bit small for 2 teenagers, bit disappointed with that, as I did book and pay for 4 adults.

Very poor hotel. It can not be 4 * at all.Posted 10-Jun-2014
We went Roma for honeymoon . First hotel made me disappointed . It's says 4 * star hotel . It should be no star at all . I stayed many 4 star hotel around Europe bit was the worst hotel according the money I payed . Staff is very rode . Breakfast is very poor. No restaurant , pub inside the hotel. If the room price 60 eur per night it's ok but we paid over 100 eur. I'm sure I can find better hote with this price. I don't wanna give any stare. It's like normal B&B .

VERY UNIQUE HOTEL WITH BEAUTIFUL GARDEN AREAPosted 26-May-2014
Pros: The atmosphere and the location and the friendly informative staff.
Cons: Bed a bit hard, no face clothes or top sheets used in Europe I guess.
Location: Excellent location quick walk to the Termini and bus/streetcar. Beautiful ruins across the street from Hotel and close to Gelato parlor and good food.
I booked our vacation to Italy online through Expedia and I am pleasantly surprised with this hotel and the organization. All went very smoothly. I am impressed and will continue to use Expedia for future travel!

Good locationPosted 19-May-2014
I had a small and basic room but a reasonable price. This hotel is close to the major bus routes and not far from the metro so a good launch pad to visit Rome for sensible money. Staff very friendly and kind. All you could want for a short city break without frills, although there was a mini bar, wi-fi and access to the internet in the lobby.
