“Hotel à recommander sans réserve ; accès très aisé au centre historique ( à pied ou autobus )”
Hotel en tout point digne de sa catégorie, particulièrement calme et confortable; chambres et salle de bain spacieuses , décoration sobre , de bon ton.
“Highly Recommended”
Choosing a hotel in Rome online is a veritable minefield! After many hours of trawling through websites and reviews, I chose the Dei Mellini after others seemed to recommend it so highly. I certainly wasn't disappointed. Ever attentive staff, good breakfast choices (included), great location (away from the madness but easy access to everywhere), clean well-appointed room, and equidistant walking from all the main popular sites. If you chose your time of year carefully, you can also get good deals on rates. I don't often stay in 4-star hotels - this was a weekend treat - but I would certainly stay at the Dei Mellini again.
“Excellent Value”
I would highly recommend this hotel. It is walking distance to everything in Rome yet quiet and comfortable. The service was generally good--breakfast was great but front desk could have been a little more helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious.
“Lovely hotel with great staff”
We really enjoyed this hotel in April 05, even if it is a little out of the way. I would recommend it to anyone. especially if you want an American like hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful. The rooms were very modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great. No complaints at all.
“Great location!!”
We stayed at the hotel end end of May and were so impresssed with the cleanliness and the excellent location. Great basic restaurants close by and we could walk to the Spanish Steps, etc.
“Lovely hotel in Rome”
The service at Hotel Dei Mellini was second to none and definitely the best service I have ever experienced in a hotel and this includes Las Vegas! The staff couldn't do enough to help you and attended to our every need. The room was nice, and very comfortable. The breakfast, which was continental, was lovely and had all sorts of pastries, ham, cheese, rolls, yogurts, lots of fruit & cereal. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Rome. It was also in an ideal area. It took about 10 - 15 minutes to get to the major attractions by foot. Rome is a beautiful city and I will definitely go back in a few years.
