“Aucun souci”
Hôtel de grand standing. La chambre était assez petite mais le lit très grand. L'eau chaude met un peu de temps à arriver. Le service est parfait.
“When in Rome, stay at d'Inghilterra”
Spectacularly placed, very well kept, with well mannered, helpful and attentive staff. The maids were also nice, but could have been a bit more careful. (One day they forgot to empty one of the trash cans, another day they omitted to replace the tissue box. Otherwise the room was well kept). A very nice variety of food for breakfast, with professional assistance from staff. Tried the restaurant for lunch ones, with mixed results in so far as the food quality vs prices was concerned. Some dishes arrived cold, some others were poorly described by both, waiters and menu. But, as noted earlier, this hotel will be my first choice the next time I'll visit Rome.
“The Best in Rome”
The nicest staff The best breakfast Fabulous rooms Awesome location Would return in a heartbeat!
“A gorgeous hotel”
I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to be located in the very center of rome.
“Très classe, au milieu des grandes maisons de couture”
Un moment privilégié
“Wonderful staff”
Excellent location by Via Condotti, pretty rooms but above all excellent front desk staff who are charming and helpful at all times.
“Quietly elegant”
Great hotel with excellent service. Position wonderful. Can not wait to go back for a longer stay.
“Home away from home in Rome!”
I've been staying at the d'Inghliterra Hotel since my earliest trips to Rome. You can always depend upon it for comfort and delight--you feel well cared for while having the daily pleasure of charming surroundings that are not "canned"---this hotel has evolved over the many years I've been a tourist here and it only gets better.
“Great hotel”
This is a smallish, very quaint hotel. The location is terrific - in the heart of the shopping district surrounding the Spanish Steps. The metro is very close, and Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Campo de Fiori, and the Pantheon are all within walking distance. The staff are extrememly nice and very helpful. The hotel even has a great restaurant and patio area. One tip - the Expedia "Dining Options" for this hotel make it appear that a continental breakfast is included. The breakfast is NOT included in the price. You have to opt for an additional meal plan to get the breakfast. If you don't opt for the meal plan, the breakfast is about $25 - really pricey for what you get. Luckily, there were several reasonably priced cafes nearby. I would definitely go back!
“Highly Recommend this hotel”
The Hotel is in a perfect location -- two small blocks from the spanish steps (and a metro station). The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but very elegant and comfortable (unlike the other rooms in Italy, the bed was really a queen bed, and super comfortable. The bathroom was small, as usual for Rome, but very elegant and comfy. The heated towels are a nice touch) We can't say enough good things about this hotel, it's one of our favorites ever. The free breakfast is even excellent!

Area:
Spanish Steps - Trevi Fountain, Rome, Italy: Romes largest, most spectacular fountain, the Trevi Fountain is a baroque extravaganza, its ancient sea gods and gushing water dominating a tiny piazza. Immortalised in Fellinis film, La Dolce Vita, this is the place to toss your coins to ensure your return to the Eternal City. The three streets radiating from the piazza lead to the historical centre and sights of the Quirinale one of the original seven hills.
