“Very convenient hotel to the Termini railway station in Rome”
We found the hotel clean and very convenient. There were wonderful restaurants only a few blocks away. We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of a cruise and at the end of a cruise. It was convenient to get to Citvitavecchia by train and then about 1/4 mile to the transfer bus to the ship.
“bon hôtel à Rome”
Très bien, mais le fait que la chambre soit en partie en sous-sol est domage.
“Home away from home”
I was treated like I was a daughter here! The front desk staff were always asking me if I had eaten, where I went and if I needed anything. They gave me a map when I decided to go wandering and asked me every night if I needed the A/C on! They were friendly and engaged in wonderful conversation. They even helped me with my Italian! To my friends at Hotel Center, Un baciaone per te! I will see you next year!
“Roman Holiday”
Chose Hotel 1, due to it's proximity to the train station and great price and it was a quick walk to the Touring hop-on/hop-off buses back at Roma Termini. It was about a 15 minute walk from the station (near an ancient/mideval ruin & a club called Rug?) the hotel sign does not say 1,2,3 so we almost walked past it. We had a side room, which was fairly typical style small Euro-room. The room & hotel inside are all decked out in nice marble floors. There's a very nice breakfast included on a rooftop patio which is a plus and the staff is quite courteous/diligent. They even held on to our bags for many hours after checkout. Great experience overall for what we paid. Negatives: a Warning: the streetcars do rumble by til `11pm, but it didnt bother us w our sleepy times coinciding & the TV requires a genius to figure out how it works due to its age & not being an Italian. But who cares about TV in Roma. A disclaimer here: over all I'm not that picky of a person !!
“Excellent rapport qualité/prix”
Accueil sympathique et souriant. Préférer les chambres ne donnant pas sur la rue, même si elles ne sont pas bruillantes. Bon standing en rapport avec les prix pratiqués par expedia.
“This was my second time...and not my last”
This hotel is ideal for anyone on a budget. It's clean, friendly and close to transportation. Bathrooms are in the room! It's not a five star, but who stays in the hotel when in Rome! The rooms are very comfy and tons of blankets and pillows. It's perfect and that's why I keep coming back.
“Easy to get to”
Excellent location - easy to get to from the airport via Leonardo Da Vinci Express Train. 15 minute walk to subway crossroad and bus stations at Termini. 1/2 hour walk to Coliseum. All other attractions easily accessible by an excellent public transportation. Hotel is very clean, room comfortable, really nice bathroom. Breakfast is sufficient. Cannot get anything better for the price you are paying. Don't get discouraged on the way there - Via Giuliano is not the most attractive but, continue beyond hotel to see what's there - parts of aquaduct and an old gate to Rome!! Few reasonably priced restaurants near by as well as a supermarket.
“Very nice place for a Roman Holiday”
A very sweet place, 15 minutes from Termini Station and 5 minutes from Metro Manzoni Station. Clean, comfy, rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. A fridge in the room is a nice touch. Great location. I liked the breakfast on the rooftop. Pastries! Yum! This is my third time here and will go again. Normally you have to leave a deposit for TV remote, but I didn't.
“Great Budget Stay!!!”
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel since the rooms were kept be very clean. For those who value a good shower, this one had doors so you avoided the battle with not touching the shower curtains. The towels were a bit thin so I recommend bringing one of your own.
