Lovely, comfortable hotel, friendly, helpful staff

Posted 31-Jul-2015
Pros: Lovely & cool after the heat of the day. Welcoming staff. Lovely roof terrace for peaceful reading.
Cons: Electricity generator perhaps
Location: A little far to walk into town, but hotel provides a courtesy shuttle bus
The atmosphere of the hotel was super, and the staff friendly and helful. Only downside - electricity kept cutting out but easily remedied by re-inserting room key. Bed linen not changed enough.

Suburb location

Posted 27-Jul-2015
Pros: Reception staff were efficient, and the evening waiters pleasant, but not instrusive. Rooms were clean, if not a little worn.
Cons: More could be made of the garden area, with a larger bathing area. Half board option would provide a budgeted cost before travel. Mattresses firm!
Location: Suburban location, a few bars and cafes with an excellant ice cream parlour Small park for under 5 in nearby piazza.
Hotel was situated in the Suburbs of Rome within a 15-20minute walk of the Vatican. It was a good city break hotel for a 3-4 day stay. Unfortunatley the food was a little expensive ( evening meal for 2 adults and 2 children approx. 100 euros per night) and you felt that there was very little other resturant choice within the vicinity of the Hotel. Transport to Rome via the hotel shuttle was tricky, given that the early morning slots were booked well in advance and therefore you were left with a taxi option or using public transport. Using public transport involved catching a train then the metro, which was not expensive just time consuming. Having toured Rome during the day the children really appreciated the late afternoon time in the pool which although small did keep them entertained for a couple of hours each day

Good hotel away from centre

Posted 27-Jul-2015
Nice hotel with good facilities. Air con is centrally controlled & could have been cooler given it was 38 degrees outside. Small pool. Small gym. Intermittent wi-fi. Food was good. Shuttle bus service good although fixed times. Bus driver very friendly & helpful.

Tæt på offentlig transport

Posted 23-Jul-2015

Lovely hotel in a quiet residential neighbourhood

Posted 22-Jul-2015
Pros: We enjoyed the hotel, because it was in a quiet residential neighbourhood, had air-conditioning and a garden with a small pool.
Cons: The breakfast was large however we would recommend more fruit and to improve the scrambled eggs.
Location: The hotel is close to the Vatican. The residential neighbourhood is clean and safe to walk around to visit restaurants.
After our cruise we chose this hotel, because it was close to downtown Rome and also had a pool. Upon arrival the front desk team was very helpful and polite. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have air--conditioning. There is a small garden, terrace and swimming pool that is much appreciated after a strenuous day of sightseeing. The free wifi works best in the lobby. For dinner we ate near the hotel and had an excellent meal. The breakfast is served in the lobby area and covered patio. We would definitely stay here again.

Fint gennemsnitlig hotel lidt væk fra centrum

Posted 19-Jul-2015

Lost in space

Posted 19-Jul-2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: customer politeness
Location: hard to find
Booking the hotel was easy, finding it was not. Round and round the blocks of Rome we circled searching for this hotel. When we arrived we were scolded by the check-in staff member that we should have had a GPS. So sorry to have called for directions. Very unpleasant greeting. When we finally got to our room, the lights would not work. We were in total darkness. My husband went back downstairs to the same clerk... told to insert the room key into the wall card to activate the lights. After numerous correct insertions, still no electric. Finally, the other clerk who told us we could not park out front upon arrival to check-in, used his tools to activate the electric in a control panel. Crazy way to run a business. OK. So now we had electric. Very hard beds... the strobe from the electric panels flashed all night long disrupting sleep. The walls are so thin in between rooms you can hear everything. I only chose this hotel due to the pool for my kid... could not use it because it was too late...9:00 arrival after the long haul to find this place. What a complete joke. They also charge an additional per person charge for using the room on top of the fee for the room. Rome taxes I guess. I will never return to this place.

Très bon hotel

Posted 18-Jul-2015

Nice Hotel though far from Train Station

Posted 15-Jul-2015
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: The staff must have more courteous attitude to guests. We travelled the entire Italy and found that people are very rude except those at Amalfi Coast.
Location: The location is far from city in a residential area and there is nothing close by. If you want to have good food, you will have to travel a good dista
The Hotel was nice and clean. It is situated in a residential area far from the the Central city location and thus you need public transport to take you there. The closest metro is at least 30 minutes away that has a connection to important locations in Rome. Other than it is a good hotel.

Worst Hotel

Posted 15-Jul-2015
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Nothing to do, see or eat within 5 miles.
The desk staff, except for Umberto, were quite helpful, however, the hotel was in the middle of nowhere, old, dated, tired and worst beds EVER. The pool was dirty with a broken liner. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling. The shuttle had to be reserved, arrangements to be picked up and only went to 2 places! The free wifi was awful. You couldn't connect 50% of the time and you usually got server errors. I was told to keep trying, and, according to Umberto, there was nothing wrong with servers. He was rude and condescending and completely clueless about hoe to even USE the Internet. I wouldn't recommend this flea trap to my worst enemy!
