The hotel was lovely with very comfortable beds and great shower rooms. Breakfast could have had a bit more variety and would have preferred a hot cooked breakfast but it was good. Staff were all very friendly, polite and knowledgable

Property condition needs a little updating. Staffs were friendly and helpful. No contactless transaction and they want cash for city tax. Not much options for breakfast. But the location is convenient.

The hotel staff were very friendly and always willing to help! The hotel was the perfect walking distance to Vatican City and a doable walking distance to the Colosseum. They offered small breakfast on sight that was enough to get our day started. Cute shops within walking distance and perfect to explore Rome. Would recommend and stay again if the chance arises in the futute.

hotel is close to everything, 5 minutes walk to the vatican, 10 minutes to the Metro station. several bars and restaurants in the Area. Hotel staff are all very friendly. I would stay here again

The Sliding doors to the shower werent able to close shut all the way So water kept seeping through. Also the windows werent able to close completely . Flys came in.

Awesome location at the heart of Rome. Front desk people were very nice and accommodating. Hotel needs some updating, although the new breakfast area is very nice!! The WiFi was not working our entire stay, which was unfortunate, but not the hotels fault. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Clerks were very helpful regarding directions, suggestions, etc. It was close to many restaurants and shops. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were cleaned daily. Temperature was manageable and we slept well. We recommend the hotel to visitors who travel on a budget.

This hotel is at a good location near the subway station. However, I would neither return nor recommend it to anyone. My check in was pretty smooth. The staff was very friendly but the facilities were poorly kept. The walls in my room were dirty and the bedding seemed pretty old. The TV didn’t work and the AC/ heater was turned off every day from 2-5:30 am and from 10 am to 1pm. The bathroom was spacious. However, the shower area was tiny. I am 5’4 and was elbowing the walls. In addition, the water was freezing cold every morning. One day I talked to someone at the reception and they told me that I had to let the water run for a few minutes prior to it getting warm. The next day I let it run for 50 minutes and it was still cold when I got into the shower. Another disappointment was the breakfast area. The coffee machine, for example, had crusty things on it that hadn’t been cleaned in days and everything tasted funny. Furthermore, there were always teenagers/ young adults screaming in the hallways and banging doors till late at night and no staff member would ask them to be respectful of other guests. This facility is definitely more like a hostel with private rooms/ bathrooms then an actual hotel.

Having read other reviews of this hotel, I was not expecting to have a good experience. Thank fully I was proved wrong. The hotel and the room was clean but basic. The room had, beds, TV, fridge and wardrobe. No tea or coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very spacious the shower was an amazing rain fall shower, water was always hot. The breakfast was continental, a selection of breads, meats, cheese, cereal, yogurt, fruit a variety of flavors of croissants and pastries. We had a enjoyable 3 night stay. staff were very helpful especially the reception. Would stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay the staff was very helpful and accommodating. I will stay here again when I visit Rome. I’ve told friends and family about Hotel Olympic about how I REALLY loved my rooms loved how it accommodated me as a single traveler. It was the perfect size perfect view. I loved the breakfast that was included with my stay. I loved it and felt really safe.

This hotel has been rated incorrectly as 4 star. It is not even close to a 2 star hotel. Expedia should correct this. The property has so much maintenance issues. The shower leaks, the shower does not drain quick enough, the bedsheets, towels and bed are too old which need to be replaced with new ones. Silverfish were present in the room due to water damage in the property. And worst of all - the room heater and shower are turned off automatically from 2am until 5:30am. The room gets so cold every night in winter. The thin bedsheet is not enough so practically hard to sleep in the cold room. We had to leave early one morning for a day tour and had to shower with cold water. Reception is not 24 hours as no one answers the phones after 10:30pm. Tourist tax had to be paid for a 4 star hotel per person which is a rip off. The hotel is not a 4 star. The hotel should not be allowed to trade in a condition it’s in. I will not recommend this hotel.

The room we stayed for the first night smelled like sewage and the sink clogged badly. We moved to another room the next day, but the second room has a clogged shower. The furniture is old with chipping surfaces. Absolutely no idea why it is a 4 star hotel according to Google.

Would recommend staying here as it was very quiet, very clean, and comfortable! Breakfast was delicious with many options! Very convient location if you plan on going to The Vatican. Will be staying at again when we come back to Rome.

A stay is highly recommended
Pretty decent sized room, very clean and comfortable. Convenient for catching the Metro about 5-10 minutes walk. I arrived very late but no problem, open 24 hours so I was able to check in easily. Breakfast available from 7am to 10am and was excellent. Overall very good value, not expensive

the A/c was not in working condition staff told me that it is controlled by central system and will be on only in specific time my room did not have wifi when asked a staff he came took my phone then took me outside till elevator and showed me it works here as ur room is far and when i checked he turned off my aeroplan mode and caused me roaming charges when asked him about this he started misbehaving no drinking water when asked he said plz find a shop on the street to buy

Good, friendly staff - Luca, Andrei and others. Good central location for Vatican City and transport network. Two deficiencies in the room. There are no tea and coffee facilities nor bedroom slippers provided in the room. Since advertised as a 4 Star hotel in Expedia, these should be provided.
