“Exquisite Hotel - Perfect Getaway”
I took my wife to Rome for her 40th birthday and, after a lot of internet searching for a decent last minute package, we chanced upon this absolute gem of a hotel. Situated literally on the banks of the Tiber the 47 is not only perfectly situated within the bounds of ancient Rome for tourist forays and sightseeing but is also only within 10 minutes walking distance of the Trastavere district's numerous authentic Italian eateries just across the Tiber. The room was excellent with all the usual facilities - very stylish too. We had two single beds made into a king but it was not noticeable that they had been pushed together. Transport links are very good with a plentiful supply of buses stopping 30 seconds from their front door which can take you to the farthest reaches of the capital. However, what made the whole experience special for me was that the staff were very attentive, especially Aline and Lorenza at the front desk. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they both went out of their way to ensure that my wife's stay was a memorable one at their hotel - a hotel of which they are both obviously very proud. Thank you to you both.
“Roman Holiday”
It was a delight and a pleasure to stay at this hotel. 99% of the staff were friendly and informative and couldnt be more helpful. The location of the hotel was superb right in the heart of ancient Rome and an easy walk across the bridges to Trastevere - great for eating out at night - try Da Enzo! We would thoroughly reccomend this hotel to everyone! Ciao Roma, hope to see you someday soon!
“Superb Hotel and Excellent Location”
The hotel was superb, staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. I cannot recommend this hotel high enough.
“Only saty at Hotel 47 in Rome!”
Fortyseven Preferred Boutique Hotel is one of if not the best hotels at which I have stayed. First, the staff is exceptional...Lorenza, Peter, and Alina are the BEST!! They are kind, responsible, dedicated, and just the nicest people I have met. This was my second time staying at the hotel, and will NOT stay anywhere else in Rome. The hotel rooms are spacious, modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, clean, and practical. ONLY stay at hotel 47!!!!
“Superbe!!”
Hotel rénové avec goût, avec une cour et une terrasse sur le toit très agréables .Le personnel est souriant, professionnel, efficace tout en restant discret. A conseiller aux couples et familles avec ados (j'imagine très bien les miens adorer cet endroit!!).
“47 is the answer not 42”
Excellent holel. Very helpful staff. Bed very comfortable and breakfast was superb. The hotel is also very well positioned for all the sights of Rome and excellent resturants across the river.
“Very Nice Boutique Hotel in Great Location”
My husband and I were visiting Rome for two days and were extremely happy with our choice of hotels! Not only was it conveniently located to the Colleseum and ancient ruins in the city, but it was a short ride to the Vatican and other attractions of Rome. The hotel was well appointed with a comfortable bed and nice bath. We particularly enjoyed the roof top restaurant with pretty views and delicious lunch. The service was terrific - Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful and very friendly- especially Peter! They also served a nice breakfast which was included in the reasonable rate.
“Wow what a hotel - 47”
What a fabulous hotel from the moment we arrived to the day we left (5 days) we were made to feel so welcome, all the staff were extremely friendly. We loved the location as it was within walking distance to all the tourist attractions. The hotel itself had beautiful artwork and sculptures, we are looking forward to returning.
“Hotel FortySeven - Exquisite”
We stayed in Rome as an 80th birthday treat for my mother. She's very fussy but thought that the hotel was amazing. My mother, sister and I stayed in one room but we didn't feel crowded. Everything was lovely and clean and the beds really comfortable, even for my mum's bad back. Our room had its own balcony with fantastic views, which included a couple of beautiful temples just over the road. I'd mentioned beforehand to the hotel that our stay was for my mum's birthday, and I did wonder if we'd been given such a nice room because of that. The steamroom in the basement was brilliant, great for my mum's bad back. I think it must be one of the best located hotels in Rome; go in a straight line and it takes you right into the heart. The buffet breakfast was the best I've had. The scrambled eggs were cooked just right - not the rubberised mess of yellow you normally get in hotels. The pastries were out of this world and there was an amazing flourless chocolate cake. We ate in the rooftop restaurant, which again had wonderful views, and had a 20% off voucher to use given to us by the hotel. The food was gorgeous and really good value compared with the UK. The staff were lovely and helpful, even phoning up the taxi company to try to trace a lost necklace (I lost it on the way to the Forum). I think we got a fantastic deal with Expedia. My mum could not believe how little it cost us considering the quality of the hotel. I can't wait to go back with my husband.
“Très pro, très prévenant”
Hôtel très propre , belle deco sobre, un service irréprochable et surtout du personnel très très attentionné et prévenant . Un excellent moment .
