“Clean, friendly and central”
Although this hotel was in the process of maintenance (painting, etc.) it was a great find right in the middle of Rome. In Rome, the location of one's hotel is paramount. This is a good choice, and the availability of drivers to/from the airport and Civitavecchia port were a good feature.
“Extremely Impressed!”
The receptionist was polite and always smiling. Our room smelt a little damp so we mentioned this and they changed our room with absolutely zero fuss to a larger one. The location was perfect and we could walk to most places. The hotel staff gave great directions and there's a DESPAR supermarket right across the street! The bus stops are literally 10seconds from the hotel and the termini is all of 5mins from the hotel which made it an easy commute from the airport. There are restaurants all around the hotel but they do shut between about 4pm and 7pm but you can always get a sandwich close by. Internet access is free on the ground floor but there are only 2 computers so you will need to be patient and considerate. The Roma Pass gives you access to all public transport for 3days and free access to 2monuments(Castel Sant' Angelo & Colosseum for example).
“Very good hotel”
The hotel was great - the reception staff were beyond helpful and offered fantastic local knowledge such as restaurants and the best way to get around the city. The building is beautiful too and feels authentic to the city. I would definitely recommend staying here - great location, lovely hotel and helpful staff.
“The Eurostar family will bring us back to Rome!”
The people of the Eurostar International Palace are its greatest asset. Molto gentile! They were gracious, courteous and so very helpful and friendly. The hotel rooms are comfortable. The beds are a bit hard by American standards, but the two-week stay was made heavenly by the service we received. Hope to go back soon!
“excellent endroit bien placé, personnel dévoué, belles chambres !”
A part le système de chauffage un peu trop fort, que du bonheur : un conseil, prenez les chambres standard et non économique (qui seraient plus petites)- les salles de bains en marbres sont superbes et l'équipement digne d'un grand hotel (peignes jetables, brosses à dents, rasoirs..) Excellent rapport qualité prix !
“no complaints at all”
Despite reading damming reviews on trip advisor prior to our visit, we found these to be completely unfounded. Staff were more than helpful, room was small but totally adequate for our needs and tea and coffee making facilities quickly furnished on request. We had a fabulous time!!
“This is Why We Pick Expedia Top Picks”
The Eurostars International Palace is a gem--a fine hotel in one of several safe 'hot spots' of Rome from which you can walk to many of the city's finest attractions, hop-on-and-off tour buses, shopping, dining, etc. And very close is St. Paul's Within the Walls American Episcopal Church where many excellent evening concerts (some free) are quite popular. The staff is exceptional, multi-lingual, polite, and efficient--we were sorry to leave this place. Buffet in the hotel was well worth the expense, but options in the neighborhood complete a wide range of options for all tastes. For those using Fiumicino Airport or the Civitavecchia cruise terminals, the hotel can arrange very reasonable van transportation (the same company is used by Expedia on line). This property exemplifies the what Expedia top picks have come to be known for--smart value without compromise.
“Would definately recommend, you can walk to most of the sights in 15 minutes!”
Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a week long holiday in Rome. We stayed at the Eurostars International Palace after reading great reviews and for a 4 star hotel in that area, it was a great price. It is a 15 minute walk from Termini Station. We got the train from Fiumicino Airport which took about 30 minutes and cost 15 euros each. We checked in about 1pm and our room was ready for us. We had just booked the standard double room without breakfast, and from photos we were expecting a room which looked a little dated, but we were pleasantly suprised to find our room on the 3rd floor had a modern feel and had plenty of space. We looked out onto a sort of courtyard area below which I suppose was not great, but better than being on the loud Via Natzionale I think. I think the position of our room was good because we were only joined to one other room and it was bathroom to bathroom. Half an hour after we checked in, an employee came to our room with a bottle of sparkly water and some peanuts! Really nice touch. You can walk to Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, 'The Wedding Cake' etc within 15 minutes and the metro which goes to the Vatican is a 5 minute walk away and very easy to use. Overall the hotel is great and would definately stay there again! :o) P.S. Go to Est Est Est for a meal! Turn left out of the hotel and take the next street to the left. It is on the left at the end of the street. We had our best meal of the holiday there!
“Very nice Hotel”
Great location to all attraction. Very nice hotel with friendly staff that all speak english. rooms are small but very nice. this hotel has it all and I would stay there again if I get the chance to go back.
“Fabulous Rome”
Never having been to Rome before the choice of hotels was very varied and many, I decided I "liked the look of the frescos" on this hotel and I made a perfect choice. It was central for all of the sites, we walked to all of them, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were very nice, the only thing I would have changed would have been tea and coffee in the room for the morning cuppa, everything else was excellent.
