“Dont trust them...”
I paid for a superior room with a queen bed but they tried to give me a regular room with a junior bed. Had to complain and 30 minutes later I was moved to the right room. The room was very hot and the A/C did not work (only the heater worked but I never needed it). They claim hotel's location is great but you will NOT be close to Rome's main attractions. Closest attraction is the Trevi Fountain, which is a 15 minute walk IF you walk through a looooong tunnel.
“Not what I expected, very disappointing”
This hotel shows many many of the flaws that tell that, while the staff is trying, the investor has given up on the property. Ice machine broken and burned out light bulbs in the bar, paint chipped and cracked throughout, soiled and threadbare carpets. Worn out towels and so on. Truly a disappointing experience.
“would find another”
While the location of the hotel was quite convenient, the lovely foyer did not by any means match that of the room. Our room was small 2 bed that wreaked of nicotine and required us to open the window every night to air it out. Thebedding was clean and adequate, however the beds were so old that the springs were worn out. For the amoutn of money we paid for the room I would not recommend staying here. And the breakfast that we thought was inclusive actually cost 15E per person. thats outrageous for buffet
“Great experience!”
Everything was top notch, from the helpful front desk staff to the cleanliness of our room, and the delicious and plentiful breakfast offerings. The hotel was in a nice area and very close to shops, eateries, and the metro. Wouldn't change a thing!
“Good Location”
Hotel is very well situated in center of Rome. Room was very small and with no desk or chair. I dont think it should be rated as a 4 star hotel and found I did not get value for my money.
“I will use Eurostars anytime while in Europe!!!!!”
The room was clean, wi-fi worked fine, and the bed firm. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would return. Note, while in Rome the point is to get outside and not to spend it in a hotel room. The Eurostars staff was also very helpful.
“Great location, helpful staffs, ok nearby restaurants”
Many major attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. Bus stops (64, 170, 40, etc) are right outside of the hotel, and metro stop at piazza del republica is only 5 min walk away. The bus and metro will be convenient for farther places like the vatican, villa borghese, trasvere, etc. The only draw back is the restaurant, since the best ones are in the south side of the city. But there are a few decent ones with couple blocks of the hotel, which is Good enough for us as first time visitors to Rome.
“Good service and good location”
We stay 5 nights in this hotel and we like customer service, comfort and cleanliness off our room. Location of hotel is very good - central to all attractions and historic places. Breakfast is international style and very good. Free internet service is very convenient.
“Great central location to all the sites.”
My wife and I recently spend 3 nights and 4 days at this hotel. We found the staff to be very helpful and quite nice. We were able to walk each morning out of the hotel and walk to all the major sites. would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend to friends and family.
“Tiny room, spacious bathroom, rich breakfast, poor service”
Perfect location. Hotel is very clean and looks renovated. Though our room was really tiny. But the bathroom was quite spacious that we could took a shower and wash ourselves normally. :) The bad soundproofing of the rooms is not a joke - every sound from the outside goes in. We asked for and got a room on the 5th floor facing the back street but still it was quite noisy. Breakfast has the best selection among various hotels we stayed in Italy. It was one of the reasons we chose this hotel and it confirmed itself. The only poor thing about it is that the breakfast area is really crowded. The location is perfect. He haven't used any public transport through our 4 day stay and were able to visit all the sites several times. Majority of sites are within 10-15 minute walk, Vatican - 30-40 minutes walk. The last is hotel stuff and their "private transfer service" which is 10 euros more than standard 40 euro taxi to the airport. We scheduled it a day in advance and when it was time to go they started saying that the driver is in a jam, will be soon, etc. Finally we got a car 20 minutes later then asked for. The driver told us then he lives nearby and they withdrew him practically from his dinner at home. They simply missed to arrange this private service at all. I would recommend this hotel because of its perfect location, good breakfast and overall good condition. Though be ready for tiny noisy rooms and unpredictable obstacles with the service.
