“Covenient location for a really low price !”
This Hotel is near any attraction in Rome. I walked everywhere from my hotel and having the Termini two blocks away from the hotel was a big plus that inspired me to wake up early take the first train departing to Florence and Venice and be there in a couple of hours, coming back tired from the trip and having your hotel right there was very satisfying. The breakfast is delicious and the view from the roof is a pleasant one. The maid service is really good, they will leave your room spotless everyday. Rooms are small but it is the standard in Europe. I asked for a fifth floor room with a big window and got it....I really miss the view of Rome from my room window every morning. When I go back to Rome I will stay here again!!
“Great Rome hotel for sightseeing”
My adult daughter and I enjoyed the wonderful location of this hotel. We were able to walk to the Termini (to catch the metro) and to many places in "ancient Rome". The rooftop garden had a spectacular view & the full breakfast was superb. What a great way to start each day! The hotel staff spoke good English and were all knowledgable. We were very impressed with the all the hotel facilities. Also, there were lots of nice restaurants in the area and as two women travelling alone we always felt comfortable and safe. We would definitely go to Hotel Eurostars Domus Aurea again. It was great value for money!
“Would Stay Here Again!”
We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very helpful. We were able to store our luggage before check in and after check out so we could sightsee as soon as our train arrived and before it left. Hotel is very convenient to the main train terminal. We were also able to walk to most of the sites we planned to visit, the Colosseum, Pantheon, Fountain of Trevi, and Spainish Steps. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus which we all enjoyed.
“Good location, friendly staff”
We stayed in Rome for two nights and chose the Domus Aurea because of its proximity to the rail station for our trip to Florence. The room and shower were a little small by American standards but very clean. We were very pleased with the service provided by Andreas, who was working the front desk during our stay. He was most informative in assisting us with finding bus transportion around Rome and guiding us to excellent restaurants in the area. After a week of travel we realized we had overpacked, and he offered to store our excess suitcase for two weeks until we would return to Rome for a flight home. When we arrived at our hotel near the airport we found a shuttle van waiting for us with the luggage. We considered this to be service extraordinaire.
“GREAT BREAKFAST!”
The hotel was located in a very nice area. Safe and 5 minute walk to termini. The complimentary is "GREAT". juice, fresh fruit, meats of all kinds, nice italian breakfast. The room was small, but felt cozy. The bathroom is modern. It had a flat screen TV. free internet and the staff is very friendly and speak english. Bus stop is to the left of hotel ( took bus 92 to the catacomb St. Prescilla and the termini a quick 5 minutes walk. Will definitely comeback to this hotel. Don''t believe the bad ratings and reviews on this hotel. After all, this is Europe and the accommodation is typical european, For me, It was "Perfect" Amelia O, San Francisco, CA
“Would recommend, Great location, very clean and modern, staff helpful and friendly”
Only thing was room was a little small, Room had nice LCD TV and some cable channels with free movies. Our room had a open window out to the street which was really nice. There was heaps of little extras eg toothbrushes and toothpaste packs that I have never recieve at even a 5 star hotel.
“Nice quiet area”
A very pleasant hotel near the Roma Termini and Metro. Nice neighborhood and quiet.
“A good location to access Rome's sites”
This hotel was not the most elaborate or elegant, but it was clean, comfortable, and enjoyable. Best characteristics: It is within walking distance of the train station for a quick Metro trip to all of Rome's best sites and for airport access. The front-desk staff were expecting us when we arrived, and the rooftop breakfast makes for a nice start to the day.
“Great breakfast buffet”
The manager Vicente was a wonderful man because he was moved us to a much more comfortable and spacious room after our first night. Thanks to him, our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. Thank you Vicente.
