“Service was exceptional”
The Empire Palace Hotel is situated in a safe, quiet area of Rome which was important to us. For non Italian speaking travelers they were very helpful in helping us with tour and travel arrangements. The included breakfast was substantial but the lunch and dinner menu in the restaurant lacked variety. Fortunately there are a number of good restaurants within walking distance. Staying in the month of November proved to be slight problem since the weather was warm and the hotel air conditioning was turned off for the season. We had to sleep with the windows open but with our room facing a courtyard, we had to endure more noise than we would have liked. Fortunately we were on the 5th floor, had we been lower the noise (guests utilizing the very pretty courtyard) would have been unacceptable. The heavy terrycloth robes and slippers were a nice touch.
“An excellent 4 star hotel”
The hotel staff could speak english - they were very courteous. Lovely inner courtyard where one can relax and have a drink or light meal from noon onwards. We used and enjoyed their adjacent Restaurant L'Aureliano for dinner - good service and high quality meals - prices for our meals compared favourably with 'fine dining' restaurants in England.
“Lovely place to stay”
We were very happy with this hotel. It's a little off the beaten path (though close to Via Veneto) which made it almost more enjoyable. Nice restaurants in neighborhood (such as Santo Padre) and just a short cab ride to other regions such as Piazza Navona. The only negative comments would be the lack of bathing washcloths and the bed pillows were a little hard and pre-formed. Otherwise, a great place to stay. Nice courtyard for drinks or just relaxing. Nice doormen. Very quiet neighborhood.
“It exceeded my expectations.”
The Empire Palace was lovely. Terrific service, excellent breakfast and lunch. Dinner also available. Courtyard bar. Good location, reasonable but not inexpensive.
“Clean and Gracious”
The hotel was exactly as we expected by the other reviews. The room was small and completely comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was elegant and plentiful. Room was quiet, warm and cozy. Hotel was close enough to walk to all the major sites and close enough to both Termini Station and other metro stations that we got around quite well. I will return here when I come back to Rom.
“Highly Recommend”
This Hotel was Wonderful. The Staff were very Friendly and spoke excellent English. Our Room faced the Street, and we saw some great sunsets from our Window. The Breakfast included with the room was Fantastic. Everything was very fresh and well presentated. The Staff that serves the Breakfast are very nice, and remember if You need that coffee FAST. The Hotel is located in an area not far from Termini Train station, which has a lot of small restaurants and places to shop.
“Great 3 Days !”
Perfetto !
“Can't wait to go back”
Beautiful hotel to stay in, very clean, comfortable, friendly staff, helpful receptionists, very good location in the heart of the city center of Rome, near all see sights you don't need a bus or taxi, just walk few minutes and you are there and don't forget the main train station which we take the train from there to visit PISA tower. I would recommend this hotel and if I have the chance to go to Rome again I will stay in this hotel for sure.
