“Ideal tourist base in Rome”
Short walk from Spagna and Barberini metros and many bus routes, easy walk from historic centre. Small hotel, good continental breakfast. Our room was large and comfortable with a sitting area and good lighting and TV - but windows were onto an enclosed courtyard, quiet but no view. Free Internet in the hotel. Although there is a lift it is 6 steps up from reception and was 6 steps up or down from our room.
“I will stay again”
After reading the poor reviews of this hotel we were quite worried before we arrived ! How wrong could we be. It was a lovely little hotel - perfectly situated with helpful, friendly staff. We would definately stay there again.
“Elite Hotel”
Simple & clean hotel. You get more than what you pay for! Basic breakfast with value for money rooms. The location is second to none! We walked everywhere from The Elite and spent little time there. But the beds were comfortable and the staff were helpful. It's a budget hotel in a beautiful city, If you are content without 'frills' and want to experience a wonderful city without breaking the bank, then visit the Elite Hotel.
“Great hotel”
great location, great service. would recommend!
“Such a good deal for Rome”
I've never placed a review before but felt I should after our stay at the Elite hotel, only because I could have easily been put off by some unfair reviews. We booked at the last minute and choose the Elite because it was the cheapest option for the days we travelled but still in a location I already knew was going to be great. I was a bit concerned that some of the reviews were so bad but went for it as I knew we rarely spend anytime in the hotel anyway and it was such a cheap option. Anyway I was really happy with every aspect of the hotel - friendly efficient staff, lovely room (2nd floor which I suspect has only just been redecorated) and the perfect location for visiting Rome. Obviously its not a 5 star hotel but you are not paying for one. We had a fantastic 5 nights in Rome (such an amazing city!) and I'd definitely go back again to the Elite especially if they keep their prices this low.
“Fantastic old hotel”
The Elite hotel is an old building very close to the Spanish steps. It's completely unlike a modern hotel, narrow stairs, tiny lift but is very clean and very comfortable. The staff couldn't be more helpful and I'd definitely stay there again.
“GOOD LOCALIZATION”
The hotel was located in a wonderfull area, with 2 metros reached by walk, many stores, buses stops, touristic points.
“Hôtel sympa et très bien situé”
Hôtel très agréable. Chambre confortable et un peu design (sobre). L'hôtel est très bien situé ... possible de faire beaucoup de choses à pied.
“Good Value Clean Historically Quirky”
This hotel is ideally located to get to everything. We had 2 rooms booked these varfied greatly in size, ours was very small, but very clean and comfortable. Ideal as a sightseeing base. Watch out for restaurant recommendations from reception desk the meal wasn't up to much and very pricey.
“Great location!”
For a two-star hotel, the 'Elite' exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom fine. Breakfast was simple but met our needs, and the location was perfect for the majority of the attractions in Rome, although the Vatican City was a 30 min walk. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a budget-conscious place to stay in Rome.

The three streets radiating from the piazza lead to the historical centre and sights of the Quirinale one of the original seven hills.
