“First Class”
The hotel staff were very good at check-in giving details of offers , maps and geberal guidance on how to get around. The hotel is in a nice area and only 300 yards from the Metro. We stayed in the annex which is nearer still. The apartment has a lounge area ,full kitchen and very attractive bedroom, it is very clean and towels are changed daily. Each apartment also has a large patio with table and chairs and a magnificent view over the city. ( You are on the upper floors we were on the 7th). The only problem with this is the lift which does not always respond to a call so you have a long climb up a very grand marble staircase. We took breakfast at the hotel (5 mins walk) which has to be the best value ever for a very comprehensive spread in a very comfortable dining room. The coffee is fantastic. We felt that you would have to go a long way to find a better hotel in Rome and would recommend it.
“Glad that we stayed @ the Crosti Hotel”
Great hotel in nice area of Rome, within walking distance to Termini Station and the metro stop. There are lots of great restaurants close by. The included breakfast was delicious. Hotel staff spoke English & was very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
“Great hotel for a visit to Rome”
The hotel is a short walk (5 mins) from the main railway Terminal and Rome's two Metro lines so is well placed, even though on the map it looks a little outside of the mainstream of Rome. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very nice, with newly decorated, spacious air conditioned rooms. Breakfast was included and was very nice, with a good spread of cooked meats, cheese, fruit, baked goods and cakes. There are lots of restaurants nearby and so its well located if you want a nice relaxing break in Rome. I would certainly recommend the Crosti Hotel to anyone looking to spend some time in Rome.
“Great hotel!”
Great location, extremely safe and clean, very friendly and helpful staff.
“Un sans faute !”
Nous avions choisi de séjourner dans un appartement dépendant de l'hotel: c'était vraiment super ! De l'espace, décoration soignée, pas de bruit, une terrasse très agréable pour prendre le petit-déjeuner,... Les personnes de l'accueil sont très serviables et parlent parfaitement français: une adresse et un hotel à découvrir
“Fantastic hotel”
The hotel was extreamly clean and in a very accesible location. the staff were all very friendly and helpful and i would certainly recomend the hotel to anyone else wishing to visit Rome
“Exceeded expectations”
Quality hotel. Best 3 star hotel ever stayed in. Reception staff extemely polite, friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast excellent. Easy walking distance to two metro stations.
“Wonderful!”
This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. We weren't sure to expect! The location is great! Very close to all the sites you want to see. The continental breakfast was great and filling. The room was nice and clean with all the amenities you'd expect! The staff was very helpful and friendly. They called our airport shuttle for us and it was ready right on time. I would suggest this to anyone! Such a great deal and nice place to stay with great staff and nice rooms!
“When I win the Lottery, where I will live”
We had originally booked another hotel with a pool, but I changed to this hotel based on reviews and it was the BEST decision. First off, to get to Positano from Rome (as we did), we pre-purchased our train ticket (raileurope, com)to Naples (2=100Euros). When you arrive, take the local train downstairs to Sorrento (2=7Euros). It's the last stop. Then you exit the train station and buy a ticket at the little newstand for the bus to Positano (>10E). Take this bus to 1st stop in Positano (Nuova Chiesa) and then go into the newstore right there and get a bus ticket for one of the local orange buses (2=3E) Let the bus driver know where you are staying and there is a "Prisco" stop that puts you like 3 doors down from the hotel. If you get there early, try try TRY to request suite #7! We had the BEST balcony in the place. Largest with a chaise lounge and a table/chairs. Beautiful flowers all over with views straight out to the sea and the pretty duomo church ahead of you and lush looming mountains behind. The breakfast was pretty good. We at in the lounge most of the time, but we did splurge (5E) a couple days to get breakfast right up on our balcony. The beach is not very foot friendly, so I would bring some water shoes, but it was gorgeous. For food, Da Vencenzos and the Delikatessan, which are just up and down the street, respectively. Also Las tres Sorella on the beach and Il Guarracino (sp?) along the cliff to the right of the beach.
“A Great Experience”
I don't have enough good things to say about the Crosti Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My room was clean, attractive, and very comfortable. The hotel was easy to find from Termini Station and is only about a mile away. The hotel provides easy access to the metro line, but is with in walking distance of a lot of attractions, if you're in decent shape. The breakfast was delicious and the cappuccino made by the staff was wonderful. Crosti Hotel, like the city of Rome, was everything I hoped it would be and then some. By the end of my stay, I had come to consider Crosti Hotel a true home away from home. I feel as though I was beginning to forge actual friendships with a few staff members. I was not only sad to leave Rome, but the Crosti Hotel, as well. Have no doubt, when I return to Rome, this is the hotel I will use again.
