Convenient LocationPosted 27-Oct-2014
Pros: Location, you can walk to all the famous sights.
Cons: Hotel is in need of renovation, looks tired.
Location: Plenty of restaurants around, few shops.
It was ok, no wifi in your room but you can connect at the reception, good breakfast with nice view - you take lift to 7th floor to have breakfast, staff are helpful.

Excellenty located Hotel near the Termini.Posted 15-Oct-2014
We were very comfortable here. The use of Wifi is limited to the reception area. But very good quality. Being so near to the Termini Station makes it easy to go around Rome as well to other cities. We visited Pisa, Orvieto, Assisi and Bologna by the most efficient train service from the station. This location makes it easy to travel from and to Fiumicino airport by bus which leaves from outside Termini every half hour. The price of the ticket is €4. And it is only 5 minutes walk down the road to the Hotel. Breakfast was quite ok though we have had better ones elsewhere. All in all the Hotel is to be recommended.

Recent stay at Champagne Palace, RomePosted 15-Oct-2014
Pros: Helpful, courteous staff. Bed was made and there were clean towels everyday
Cons: The furniture in the bedrooms definitely needs updating, and the air conditioning should be checked.
Location: Plenty of decent restaurants and bars. Easy Access to trains, buses, tour buses and the Metro station
Hotel is very close to the train, bus and metro station which is ideal for getting around the city. The staff were very courteous and helpful, however, the room was very small, the wardrobe was falling to pieces, and the air conditioning wasn't working. On a more positive note the bed was comfortable and was made everyday, and we had clean towels in the bathroom daily.

Close to Termini station.Posted 11-Oct-2014
Walking distance to termini station, cafes and restaurants. Coliseum is also not far as we were able to get there by 10-15 min walk. Hotel is in good condition. Our room was ok. Continental breakfast was good. Staffs were friendly.

Not a 4 starPosted 9-Oct-2014
Pros: Bed was ok, and room quite at night
Cons: Hotel needs to be updated, no wifi and staff need to be trained in customer service
Location: Location was ok to station. Stayed on other side of station 2 weeks earlier area was much nicer and more convenient to station.
Stayed in many Italian hotel over 6 weeks this is not a 4 star. Breakfast was very bad, you were lucky to get any. Also staff need to not have arguments with each other in front of guests in small breakfast room, made everyone very uncomfortable.

Shower and bathroom too small to fit an average person. Rooms are too old and deteriorated. No bath soap unless requested.

Worst hotel breakfast ever.Posted 7-Oct-2014
Pros: Beds ok
Location: Good location
Rooms were clean, but definitively not a 4 star hotel as advertised. Breakfast is basically bread, butter and mermelade. Nothing fresh, no yogurt, no fresh fruit, no juices, no eggs.
