“Caesar House Rome”
Ideal location, very comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff.
“Excellent central Rome hotel for couples.”
Excellent hotel, close to all the main attractions. Efficient and attentive staff. Wonderful recommended restaurant right behind. Not cheap but well worth it. Had a great stay.
“A little gem in the centre of Rome”
This is a small 7 bedroom hotel located beside the Forum, it is accessed from the street by a security door (you are given a key on arrival), it is a wonderful location for the price and the staff treat you as a friend not a guest - we were given coffee and biscuits on arrival. It is just a basic self service continental breakfast but it was sufficient for us as we just wanted samething quick and light before heading out to seee the sights each day.
“excellent location and service”
The staff were extremely helpful with getting transfers to and from the hotel during our stay. They answered email promptly and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. They recommended tours and restaurants and places to visit. They even showed a few rooms that were available and let us choose. The location was really good for getting around the city. The breakfast was much better than expected. The rooms were as expected, and overall a good value for the dollar.
“Definitely stay here!”
The location of the hotel was fantastic - just around the corner from the Colosseum. The room was beautiful, our breakfast was served in the room every day and the staff made us feel like friends of the family. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to every one that goes to Rome.
“Rome in comfort”
Caesar House is an excellent hotel and with only 7 rooms the staff have time for everyone. They speak good English and will help with anything. It is a very convenient location close to the Colosseum and within walking distance of many of the attractions. 2 nearby subway stations give easy access to the Metro for places further away. A journey of any length costs only 1 euro or a day ticket is available. Breakfast is pre-ordered and delivered to the rooms promptly at the chosen time. Don't be put off by the rather forbidding appearance - the hotel is entirely on the second floor of a larger building with a big security door. All in all a first class place to stay.
“A stylish secret”
Stylish decor, great location from which to see all the sights, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and such a treat to be served breakfast in our room- highly recommended.
“Very Sevice-Oriented”
If you are doing a few days in Rome and want convenience, service and sufficient comfort without going the luxury route, this may be the hotel for you. Service is very friendly and helpful. Our room had a king bed, great bathroom and very clean. It is on Cavour within sight of the Forum. It's a second floor walk -up(yes you can wait for the elevator). Simple, straightforward and perfectly adequate
“Hôtel Caesar House à Rome”
Très belle situation (près du Colisée). L'hôtel dispose de très belle chambre. Le personnel est très attentionné.
“A bit overpriced”
We shelled out some money for our first two nights in Rome thinking we had a living room with a kitchen, basically a very nice area to which we could relax after a long day of sightseeing. Well, our room was nothing more than what one could find at a Red Roof Inn, only smaller. You get one king size bed and a small sofa/bed packed into a room not much bigger than most people's dining areas. Plus, the "kitchen" was a refrigerator. Granted, it looked nice and the staff went above and beyond to make sure you were taken care of. But, for the price, I'd recommend you spend the extra money and stay at a top notch hotel where you may actually have more than one room. Now, the location is less than ten minutes from the Colosseum so it is ideal. Also, the Ristorante Fori Imperali is outstanding and close by. We just had much higher expectations based on the price. We enjoyed our stay but I wish the rates were much lower. Also,, talk with the receptionist (Rosanna?) She is worth the extra time...
