“good value/excellent location”
This hotel is very close to the subway, and is an excellent walking distance from the train. Staff were helpful. The breakfast was amazing, there was lots of food to choose from. The hotel is under renovation right now which is why the rates are so cheap. The room was very clean and neat. It was great value for the money
“Pratique pour un week-end court de 2/3 jours”
Dans l'ensemble, on a adoré notre séjour. L'emplacement de l'hôtel était idéal pour un WE de 3 jours. En revanche pour un plus long séjour, on aurait choisi un hötel plus proche de l'ancienne ville.
“Everything was great!”
We found the hotel to be an excellent choice. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was very good, the location was OK and it was great value for the price!
“Outstanding hotel for this price range.”
Best hotel experience in this price range in all my travels to Europe. Decent size room, modern accessories, full breakfast buffet including eggs, cereals, cheeses, variety of breads etc.,, air conditioned, 2 elevators, TV and more. Staff very helpful. Ask at the desk for any help you need - how to get to anywhere, where the nearest supermarket (2 minutes). Location is 8 minute walk to Termini rail station. A Metro station is about 3 minutes . Bus #492 which goes to most of the main tourist sites is 2 minutes. All in all this was a great value. Particularly nice was the fact that we could easily return to the hotel for a rest in the afternoon before going out for the evening. Very important in the heat of a Rome summer. Buy a 3 day Roma Pass if you plan to visit the Coliseum - it allows you to pass the long lines.
“Great hotel for weekend break in Rome”
This is a great place to stay if you are looking for convenience. We arrived very late in Rome and were able to take the train straight to Termini and then walk 8mins or so to the Hotel. The hotel is officially 3 star and I think that is accurate. Lots of choice at breakfast...not great quality but very acceptable. The room was fine....we were out and about all day and evening so the quality of the room/facilities was not too important. We were in Rome from Friday night to Sunday evening so it was the perfect place for a fleeting visit. Would stay there again if in Rome for a short trip.
“Can't wait to move back”
Party of 8 adults-1 17 month old child. We were extremely satisfied with the Villafranca Hotel. The rooms were very clean and the towels were changed on a daily basis. The Staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were very good with plenty and a variety of food. We would like to return to the Villafrana Hotel in the future.
“Better than last visit 6 years ago (good then)”
We stayed here 6 years ago and thought it was good but were never able to get the same good price deal as we got this year with Expedia. The hotel has improved and continues to improve -great showers, new carpets being laid, clean bedrooms and fresh towels daily. Excellent situation in Central Rome with many good restuarants nearby
“very good location”
I enjoyed staying in Villafranca. They have very good breakfast (samething everyday but with lot of varieties). very close to Termini and very safe area. Only thing that i was disappointed is the staff. they are very helpful if you have any questions but they hardly smiled (maybe they did not like us). I higly recommend it. if i decide to go back to Rome I would certainly stay in Villafranca..they do have very big bath towels and changed them every day :)
“Comfortable and friendly”
Was impressed by the cleanliness of this 3 star hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient. Enjoyed a hearty breakfast.
