“Excellent location”
Lovely hotel, great position for access to Collesium, Rome Forum etc ( 15 mins walk ) Not far ( 7 mins ) walk to metro station for access to most of the places you will visit as a tourist in Rome. Breakfast good. Hotel lift will make you laugh as unless you are on the ground or top floor, it will probably be full up when it goes past ( it only takes three people ! ) Good array of shops nearby. Excellent restaurant around corner of street ( turn right) with great choice of food and wine for reasonable prices with great service. Another great restaurant farther down street after turning right where we spent a great New Years eve and were made to feel really welcome. A great little hotel ( i do travel all over the world for my job ) and really recommended. Staff are great.
“viva Italia”
great find. very comfortable and affordable, with a great staff. all friendly and helpfull. the hotel seems a bit off the beaten path at first, but it is very walkable to the colliseum and easy access to bus and metro. I liked being out of the tourist hub, made me feel more Italiano.
“excellent hotel to use as a base for visiting Rome”
This hotel is in easy traveling distance from all the main attractions but at a fraction of the cost of a city centre hotel. We walked into the centre and back one night and used the metro the next night. The hotel was clean and well presented and the breakfast was excellent. Most hotels only provide continental breakfast but this hotel served scrambled egg and Bacon, which was needed for a long day sight seeing! Monday to Friday the hotel has happy hour 7pm - 10pm with a free buffet, well worth a visit! I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone on a city break.
“Very Pleased”
We really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast on the 8th floor is an every-morning-must if you want to get an early start (as many places weren't open terribly early in the city center). Not to mention the fact that the food was delicious and the view is great! The location was great for us, as the hotel is only a few blocks walk to the subway, and only 2 stops from most everything you would want to see and do! Booking Tip: The road that the hotel is on is very busy, ask for the 5th floor or above to minimize noise
“Perfect base”
This hotel was perfect for our weekend away. We walked to the Colosseum which took 15-20 mins and enjoyed all the sites. After viewing all the great views of Rome, we hopped on a train and was back from the Spanish Steps in 10 mins. the location of this hotel is Fab!! The hotel staff were friendly and spoke perfect English. The restaurant on the 8th floor, was beautiful in the morning at breakfast, with views matching no other. Breakfast was a choice between eggs and bacon, toast, fruit etc. The range of choice was impressive as we were expecting just cereal and toast. The hotel was clean and spotless at all times. A great hotel and definately the making of a great weekend.
“Really good location, all the basics, and then some”
I'm really beginning to like Best Western. They are very consistent and often one of the more affordable options. Location was great. 87 bus stop right in front of the hotel. Metro is about a 10 min walk. Front desk is very helpful. Free coffee and internet in the lobby. Breakfast is complete with eggs, bacon, meats, cheese, and a few types of bread. Rooms are adequate and most have a balcony. Bathrooms were recently redone and are nice. AC seemed a bit weak, but was not an issue as we could open balcony door and window, may be more of a concern during hot summer months. Finally, not a whole lot of activity in the area, but there are a handful of restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here again.
“Excellent hotel”
When we go back we will stay here.
“voyages rome”
tres bon hotel personnel accueillant belles chambres bien placé pour visite rome ancien
“Excellent rapport qualité prix”
Hôtel calme et propre. Accueil sympathique.
“Excellente situation, petit dej génial, accueil chaleureux !!”
