“perfect location!”
Hotel is located in Piazza Barberini, very close to all sights, but at the same time, in a pretty non-touristy area. Very close to bottom corner of Via Vittorio Veneto, which is a pretty street to walk up.
“Bernini Bristol - As featured in Angels and Demons”
Quite simply a great hotel in a great location and reasonably priced for Rome From here it is easy to walk everywhere, and if you are not feeling energetic then the tour bus stops just outside the hotel. There are some great bars and restaurants on the walk to Trevi and the roof terrace of the hotel gives some outstanding views across Rome. Be warned the drinks are pricy though! Rooms are modern and clean with good facilities - we stayed on the 6th Floor so also had some great views from the room. Would definately stay here again and have recommended it already to friends and family.
“Definately worth paying a bit extra for”
I booked this hotel because I heard that Rome hotels can be disappointing and as I was staying five nights over new year I wanted to ensure I enjoyed my stay. It worked out pretty expensive but was cheaper for a double room for single use then some four star hotels that I looked at. The staff were fantastic and exceptionally courteous throughout my stay, especially when, on my last day, having checked out I returned to the hotel having had my purse snatched. They helped me by giving me access to their internet and a free international call to call my bank. My room was very clean and spacious and had all the facilities one would expect from a five star hotel with the exception that they did not have pay per view films available and only three television channels in English (two news and one movie channel). I did not check out the gym/spa so am unable to give any feed back on that. The location is also very central and convenient with a metro station directly outside the front doors. My only complaint really was the price of the mini bar/room service which I do think was really very high although this tends to be the downside of any five star hotel and the Euro/Sterling exchange rate certainly did not help. I would definately recommend this hotel to someone staying in Rome.
“Une très bonne adresse”
Décoration très italienne pour ce palai typique , rien à redire
“Next time I visit Rome, I will definitely stay here!”
Clean - Spacious - Courteous and helpful Staff
“un bel hotel central”
Nous avons passé 5 jours et 4 nuits avec nos 3 enfants à la Toussaint. 2 chambres communicantes au 3ème étage, grandes et propres. Déco classique quasi neuve. Les enfants ont beaucuope aimé le jacuzzi et le hammam au sous sol. Le concierge qui parle français est très efficace.Quant au restaurant sur le toit, les plats sont divins et la vue est tout simplement sublime.
“Great place to stay”
Great location! Beautiful hotel. Ask for a room with a view of the Piazza. The only issue we had was that the shower and one of the sinks would clog which was kind of gross. Otherwise the hotel was comfortable, bed was fantastic, and service was really nice!
“Would stay at this hotel on all future trips to Rome.”
Absolutely a wonderful hotel. Very courteous service, clean rooms, and location was terrific.
“Great value for the location in Rome”
We were steps from the Trivoli fountain yet the hotel had none of the tourist frenzy one might expect. The service was exceptional and the concierage worked miracles.
“Big Fan of the Bernini!”
The room was fairly spacious and comfortable....great bed and excellent bathroom facilities. The only slight drawback was that it did get a little hot in the room one night and they hadn't turned the ac on so it was a bit hard to sleep one night, but it would not deter me from going back again. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooftop terrace was beautiful and well worth having a drink on after being out and about all day!
