“How far to Rome”
Just back from trip to Rome. Stayed for 3 nights at the Aran Park Hotel. Excellent modern hotel with very friendly staff and very reasonable. BUT. A very long way from Rome centre. It takes 2 buses or a linea B tube to the terminus and a 762 bus. A No. 170 from Termini for at least 45 minutes followed by a 20+ minute trip on a No. 762. We found it took between 1 1/4 hours - 2 hours to get to or from the hotel. A 30 minute taxi from Campino airport is 45 euros + tip but well worth the price to avoid a 3 hour plus marathon from the airport.
“Very Elegant Place To Stay (Great for the Price)”
This hotel was very clean and elegant. They speak English and were very helpful. If you do not have a vehilce you must take the metro and the bus to get there. It's about 30 minutes from downtown Rome. They clean your room daily and we had a balcony to see the outside landscapes. It was really worth the money. Note: the mini bar drinks in your small frige are NOT FREE. At first I thought they were but we found a price list under the cups the last day we were there. Fortunately, the front desk didn't have change when we were checking out so everything was free (we got lucky). The free breakfast was amazing. They had a buffet with a lot of different choices. It was on the 7th floor so you had a great view while you ate. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Stay here, it was great! You'll like it!
“Rome's Trip”
Pretty nice hotel, only 15 min from metro station, next to bus station (which runs every 10 min until midnight). Overall, pretty satisfied with the hotel. I would recommend it to others.
“Nice quiet out-of-the-way hotel”
We had to catch a flight from Fiumicino airport early in the morning and had a rental car, so we picked this hotel for its decent location in relation to the airport. The rooms were a nice size and clean, and hotel staff was helpful. We were disappointed to not have internet access in our hotel room, but otherwise had no real complaints. The location is right on the outskirts of Rome in a quiet residential neighbourhood. We had a rental car and they had free gated parking, so there were no issues. I understand there's a free shuttle bus to a train/metro station, but we never used it. The hotel mostly seemed to be used by tour groups (we had 4 tour buses parked outside the hotel overnight).

“A nice place to stay”
Aran Park is a nice, comfortable hotel. For those who do not wish to stay in the heart of Rome, this hotel is for you. Anyone willing to travel approximately 45 minutes by public transit to get to the core of the city will find this hotel ideal. The breakfast, included in the price, is lovely. The staff was helpful and courteous. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that each room had its own balcony, and also by the fact that an overseas phone call cost mere cents. However, three things were not to our liking. Firstly, the room comes equiped with large closets that do not have keys to them. When we asked for a set of keys, we were told that the closets were from a previous hotel situated in the same location and no keys were available. Secondly, the air conditioning system in the room did not work at all. Luckly, the nights were cool so we left the balcony door open. Lastly, due to a lack of vents in the bathroom, paint was peeling off of the bathroom ceiling - not exactly aesthetically pleasing to the eye. That aside, our overall 4-day stay at this hotel was very satisfactory.
