Inquiries and requests were responded to very quickly. We were accommodated even past our check in time which was greatly appreciated. Baked items were provided and replenished everyday. The area was quiet and was well maintained clean. Check out was easy.

We had a great stay at this property. I didn't realise when booking that check-in was until 9pm and our flight didn't land until 9:20, so the owner met us when our taxi arrived and we were able to communicate easily. It was clean and timidly, we had all the amenities we needed and more for a comfortable stay. It's a great location and really close to the vatican and walking distance to all of the big tourist points in Rome.

The room was clean and cosy and the staff were very helpful. There was a shared mini kitchen with free refreshments. I assumed as it was a B&B breakfast would be included, as there was not an option to add it, but it was not. However there were cafes and restaurants nearby. The neighbourhood was less hectic than central and very close to the Vatican, with a bus to central Rome which stopped outside.

Loved the balcony! Terrific location very near the Vatican (The bells of St Peter’s Basilica awake us each morning), excellent restaurants nearby, bus stop outside the front door. Very well stocked shared kitchen, but it was shared with only two other rooms!

Check in was quick and easy and the staff person was very friendly. The apartment was more than we could have imagined and there were breakfast treats and yogurts in the fridge. The hotel is literally around the corner from The Vatican and there are so many shops, restaurants etc. on the road. Incredible value for money and conveniently located. We really loved our stay here

Bait and Switch at B&B Le Fornaci
I was a victim of the old bait and switch by Valentina. I booked a room at B&B Le Fornaci for two nights but instead was put in another place that was inferior to what I had booked on the website. The place I was was put in was below ground so it was dark and clammy. Valentina should never accepted my reservation if she could not have accommodated me in the place I had booked. I would not have accepted the substitute had she been honest with me. If you want to reward unscrupulous business practices then by all means book your stay at B&B Fornaci.

Dear Sir. PAUL We ares sorry for the inconvenience. We gave them another room as the other was unusable due to a non-functioning bathroom. The other room was always a bed and breakfast type, not absolutely inferior .... the same level. We do our best to be able to guarantee the best comfort. Unfortunately, there are unforeseen situations that we have to solve in a short time. Best regards

We had a wonderful stay here for four nights. The room was large and clean. There was a small refrigerator in the room that kept everything cold too. There are a ton of little shops in the area so you can get supplies plus a large supermarket just a bit up the road. Lots of local dining options too. The vatican is easily in walking distance. I would stay again without issue.

Perfect!!!
Fabulous service. Extremely welcoming. 5 minutes walking distance to Vatican City - from there you can walk pretty much anywhere or get the metro. There is a bus that stops outside which takes you right into the Center of Rome for €1.50. Some lovely restaurants that we ate in on the same road. Rooms are comfortable and quiet - overall we would highly recommend b&b le fornaci. Couldn’t fault it!

I liked that the shower had good water pressure and the water was as hot as I wanted. The rooms were cleaned daily. I liked that we could make coffee and tea every morning if we wanted. We had a small refrigerator that was adequate for our needs.

This was a great location, right next to everything. Our host Valentina was amazing. She assisted us with everything, from giving us tips on where to go and how to go around Rome, to what laundry to use for our clothes. Great, great location. A must stay while in Rome!

This property was perfect for visiting the Vatcan. Valentina, who runs this property, was over and above helpful in making our visit enjoyable. Her generosity of time and knowledge and willingness to share really was so appreciated. She is the reason this property gets such high ratings from us. It was a great location and very secure. Close to the Vatican and we were able to walk everywhere from here. Valentina was so accommodating and lovely. She helped us book a ride to the airport.

We enjoyed our stay. The lady that worked with us was OUTSTANDING. She gave us many tips about travel in Rome, etc. There were only two concerns. 1-There was no regular hotel lobby and so we just saw the lady once a day. 2-The shower was VERY SMALL!

Valentina, Danielle and Valarie were great and tried to make our stay comfortable. However, the room had poor air ventilation, we couldn't leave our room door open due to safety reasons and couldn't leave balcony door open due to stinky smell from the garbage bin outside. The room felt suffocating which made us very sick and we couldn't sleep all night. Additionally, there was a constant noise from the bathroom and the refrigerator which was very annoying. The breakfast was substandard as well.

What a wonder stay at the Le Fornaci B & B. The hostess, Valentina was so welcoming and caring for our needs. She made our stay special. From our room it was an easy walk to the Vatican and also the metro system. Plenty of restaurants in the area with great food. There is a laundry service just a few doors down. You can do it yourself or drop off and pick up later. Also, some of the restaurants will charge a Euro per person service fee if you only drink. Though with the fee you can sit there the whole day if you like. So there's a method to there ways. If your going to Roma consider the Le Fornaci B&B

Excellent stay at B&B San Pietro Alle Fornaci
We had an excellent stay at B&B San Pietro Alle Fornaci, location is very good if you are looking to stay near the Vatican. You can attend daily mass at St Peter Basilica if you are a Catholic. Walking distance , about 10mins leisurely. The room is very cosy and clean. Used towels are changed every day. Little sachets of shampoo n shower gel is provided in the bath room. Breakfast is served at 8am every day. We like the room and dining area, cosy and breakfast is continental - sandwich, Danish pastries, yoghurt, juice and hot beverages available throughout the day also cookies are available if u need a snack. There is a kettle in the dining area if you are thinking to boil water for your instant noodles. There is a mini refrigerator in the room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you very much B&B San Pietro Alle Fornaci !

Excellent attention from Valeria! Very helpful person. We walked 5 minutes to get to San Pietro Basilica. Close by you have some stores where you can buy sodas, juices, fruits, snacks! Also nice restaurants around. We just left yesterday (August 13-2017) I recommend this B&B. Simple place to stay but excellent!!! :-) The 4 sisters!

Ideal for short family stopover
We stayed here with 2 children for 2 nights to cram in some site seeing in Rome. Additional beds fit in the room comfortably but limited space for cases etc. That said, we were expecting this and it was very reasonably priced and ideal for our quick visit to Rome in between lucca and todi. The owner was lovely and laid on some lovely sandwiches, pastries and cereal for breakfast. Very close to the Vatican.

Nice hotel close to Vatican
We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights. It is only 300 meters from Vatican city entrance. The B&B Manager Valentina is nice and hospitable. She makes the breakfast and brings it to your room. The room had air conditioning, which is must in summer months, as temperatures is in mid 90s. The only negative thing was that room and shower area were too small and we had hard time opening our bags. Other than this, rest everything is pretty good about this B&B. The location is one of the best in Rome, you come out of the B&B door and Vatican entrance is right there in front of you, Taxi stand was across the street, many good restaurants next door to it, bus stop very close and some grocery shops across the street. The host Valentina is very cool and take a good care of guests.
