“ATLANTE GARDEN.”
actually stayed at the atlante garden hotel, which was fabulous. Our room was a good size, with lovely comfy beds and a pleasing bathroom. The hotel staff were helpful and very friendly and as we were travelling with a 2 year old they were very accommodating and its very child friendly.
“I would like to give a very good assessment in this review to fellow travelers.”
Locatoin was very good. Sitting on the roof deck with a glass of wine watching the sunset over the Vatican was very relaxing after a hard day of sightseeing.
“Comfort away from home”
This property is new and very clean. The rooms are what you would expect from an American Hotel. The Bar reception area was perfect for our families to congregate in whether for morning espresso or afternoon cocktails. Computer work stations were available for those who had to work on this trip. The nicest of the hotels we stayed in on our trip to southern Italy and the best price.
“Will stay here again!”
The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, fresh, and well-maintained. The wait staff was extremely accomodating. The front desk staff assisted us in finding the attractions of the city. They also helped us arrange for transport to the airport through the hotel's van service, which is incredibly convenient. The kindness and genuine warmth of the staff surrounded us, from the housekeepers, to the waitstaff, to the front desk personnel, to the airport transport driver. The location is fabulous, as it is just a few blocks from the Vatican, Castel St. Angelo, and the Tiber River. Though it takes about 45 minutes, the walk to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Fontana Trevi, the Pantheon, or the Piazza del Popolo is beautiful and should not be missed by those who desire to immerse themselves in Rome!
“facile d'acces proche du centre”
Personnel disponible et souriant hotel proche des centres de vie et des momuments petit déjeuner avec vue sur le vatican et les toits de Rome
“Luxury Hotel Service at Affordable Price”
From the moment we checked in to the Atlante Star Hotel, we were greeted and treated as familiar, welcome and highly valued friends. Visitors and callers were treated with similar courtesy and grace. Its proximity to the Vatican was a real benefit. Rooms were tastefully appointed and provided amenities normally found in luxury hotels. Yes, the halls are narrow, elevators and rooms are small, for those who like to spend their day in the hotel. Room upgrades are available, Those of us who are cost conscious and travel to Rome to see and experience the people and the city, however will find this of no concern. The complimentary breakfast buffet was absolutely lavish and the dining facilities, with its incomparable views was magnificent. I look forward to returning soon and often.
“Good Choice!”
We are so pleased with the travel experience we received by booking through Expedia. Our flight from Toronto was with Air Canada all the way to Rome and that was great! When we got to Rome, the Atlante Star Hotel sent someone to pick us up (6 in total) in a minivan. The location of the hotel was excellent (when you step out the main entrance and look to the left, you can see Castel Sant'Angelo and if you walk two blocks ahead, you are in Vatican City!) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Some found the rooms a little dark and small, but they were clean and comfortable for the amount of time we spent there. We did not actually eat in the dinning room because we preferred to venture out. Overall, I think I speak on behalf of everyone in my family when I say that I would recommend this hotel and certainly recommend booking through Expedia.
“Great European Boutique Hotel”
This hotel is very close to Vatican City and has a great view of St. Peter's from their rooftop restaurant. We only stayed one day as we were leaving on a cruise and really wanted to be close to Vatican City. This was the perfect location. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was large by boutique hotel standards and was clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book here on future trips to Rome.
“Great Rome Hotel”
We enjoyed a great 3 night stay at the Atlante Star Hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful and the room was very clean. The view was amazing. We were just down the street from St Peter's Square. The shuttle from the airport was very convenient. We would definitely stay here next time we go to Rome.
“Very nice hotel - great location.”
We booked a quadruple room for me, my wife, and two teenage kids but they gave us two rooms when we got there at no charge. This was a top notch hotel and the front desk clerks were very professional, nice, and spoke perfect English. They provided valet service with the car and it would have been a pain to try to find a spot on the street and pay the meter. We walked everywhere for the most part anyway. The breakfast was fantastic and included. The restaurant was called the Roof Garden with a great view of St. Peter's Basilca. We passed on dinner there since the desk clerk advised how expensive it was. I had to ask again on the price because it was so expensive that I heard a different number! We went to New Year's Mass at St. Peter's held by the Pope and it poured rain so it was nice we were only about a quarter mile or so away. We walked to the Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain which were at least a mile or two away but that is the way to see the city. We did drive to the Colliseum and ancient ruins since that was 2-3 miles away. We parked easily on the street and walked all around that area. My room in Florence was larger and nicer at half the price but I figured we were paying for the proximity to the Vatican. Also, the bathroom had a whirlpool bath which was very relaxing after walking miles and miles every day.
