“Safe and convenient”

My daughter and I spent 6 nights in Rome for a "Girl's Getaway". We wanted a hotel that was in a safe neighborhood, and convenient for sightseeing. Atlante Garden fit that category. The pickup at the airport was seamless, and we were glad to have ready transportation to the hotel after a long flight. Although we were not happy to have to spend the first night at a different hotel due to overbooking, the Atlante went out of their way to offer us compensation for our inconvenience. Our twin room was clean and quiet at night. We were a short walk from the nearest metro, and felt safe walking back to our hotel in the dark. The drawback was that the mattress was not firm.

“Great Place to stay in Rome”

The hotel staff was superb! The breakfast was filling. Great location, close to the Vatican. We plan to stay there again on our next trip to Rome. Free airport to hotel pick-up, but 48Euros for hotel to airport drop-off (need cash).

“Atlante Garden Hotel”

The hotel has a very friendly and helpful staff. There is a free shuttle from the airport, but arrival information must be faxed or emailed to the hotel prior to arrival. The return shuttle is not free, however, and it must be reserved at least 24 hours prior to departure.

Our first experience with both rome and expedia and both were a success. This hotel didn't have any reviews when we booked it so we had no expectations. What a surprise, right in the heart of the tourist spots, great location for both walking and eating and a short walk to the metro. We bought a 3 day rome pass and it proved great value for money. The hotel staff were always very helpful our only problem was their internet connection, but not a serious worry. Rooms were a great standardand and while some travellers complained about the small size of the lift for us it was no problem in fact quite quirky and memorable. Room appointments were palatial with high standards in bathrooms, air conditoned and more than comfortable. Plenty of tourist information at reception with lots of maps and references in many languages.

Very happy with this well situated hotel. It is 5 minutes walk to the Vatican and many tourist places, great for shopping and many places to have dinner. Highly recomend the Roof Top restaurant with views to Vatican, 5 star food and service and very well priced! Very romantic and a must.Buffet breakfast was very good, continental style but one of the better for Italy. The staff were extremely helpful and courtesy pickup from the airport much appreciated. Would not hesitate to recomend this hotel and will return to Rome and stay in this hotel again.

“Very nice experience”

My cousin and I stayed for two nights at this hotel. The room was small but well appointed and very clean. The free airport pick up was very convenient and hotel staff was helpful with restaurant recommendations and transportation information. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the area near the Vatican.

“A Wonderful Experience”

A very positive experience. We arrived early; were invited to a complimentary breakfast while waiting for our room. All staff were plesant, the room was very nice and kept clean. Try out the wonderful restaurant at the sister hotel-what a view! For an unforgettable dining experience, go to La Pergola at the Hilton. Try the Fagottelli. This restaurant is very $$$$ but a great experience! Read Rick Steve's Rome 2010-great advice, especially on the secret (fast)way out of Sistine Chapel!
