“Very good hotel, but I'm not satisfied with the location”

The facilities of this hotel is excellent for its price. The location of this hotel has little problem to access to the major sightseeing spots. If you go there, you have to go to Termini Station, main station of Rome, to take bus or subway. It takes less than 10 min walking from this hotel. Otherwise, you'll take taxi from the hotel.

“European Virgin”

It's all about the location. The Metro A line and B line stations are about the same walking distance from the hotel. B being the Castro station and A being Termini. We were planning a day trip to Florence and were not renting a car so this location was perfect for our needs. Colosseum, Vatican, Spanish Steps, Forence and the beach!!! just a five minute walk from the hotel to a station then let 'il tren' take you there. Hotel was fine. Breakfast was wonderful, I miss my morning proscutio(sp?) and coffee. Loved the 7-10:30 hours. Saved lots or euro on food. Front desk was very helpful. Cons...TV was limited and morning rush hour left you without any water pressure to take a bath...eat brakfast first then bathe. Restaurant was OK. The air and hotel pakage deal from Expedia got us this Best Westen hotel for about half the website price.

“We would go back in a heatbeat”

We loved our stay at the Art Deco. Easy walk from the Termini station, clean, quiet and very nicely decorated. The staff spoke excellent english and were friendly and helpful. The hotel offered an excellent breakfast included in the room price. There are lots of reasonably priced restaurants within a few minutes walk. Our flight back to London was delayed a day because of a strike and the hotel staff were extremely helpful, making phone calls for us and ensuring that we could remain in the same room for an extra night - and at the same Expedia rate. Highly recommended - not a luxury hotel but great value.

“Great location!”

We strongly recommend this hotel. We stayed here for three nights during the beatification of John Paul II, and its location is fantastic! Its about 5 mins walking to the Castro Pretoria metro station, and 10 mins walking to Termini Station. The area surrounding the hotel was extremely safe (there are a couple of embassies around with 24/7 security) and we highly recommend a restaurant nearby called "La Famiglia" (great great food). We stayed on the third floor, and the room was very large (we had a king bed and a single bed). The AC was not working yet, although the heater was, due to some city regulations, but it was safe to open the windows during the night (no bars around the windows). The bathroom was very big also. The only minor complaint would be the breakfast; it wasn't as good as some others we've had in other hotels in Rome, but it was OK enough I guess. Overall, a great stay in Rome and we would definitely go back to this hotel on our next trip to Rome.

“Excellent hotel for a weekend break”

Though a little bit far from metro stops, the hotel is excellent. Excellent breakfast, clean and large rooms and kind stuff.

Hotel situé en dehors du centre historique mais à 2 pas d'une station de métro (ligne A) et dans un quartier calme. Les chambres sont assez grandes. Le personnel est serviable.

Globalement très satisfait à tous points de vue. Personnel très compétent et agréable qui comprend parfaitement le français. Petit déjeuner très bien. C'est dommage qu'ils n'affichent pas la carte du restaurant on aurait peut-être pu y manger!
