“We loved Ambasciatori Hotel and its Staff”

I had my reservations about this hotel based on comments found online. This hotel is old and looks old. However and especially in this case, old means classy. Our room, not a suite just a room, had 2 bathrooms, one of which was turn of the century dark green Italian Marble, classic late 1800 early 1900 sink, tub and more. Bed was very comfortable, but above all, service was incredible. From the front desk to room service and valet, I have never met such nice people and so willing to help.

“Expensive location”

Excellent service, comfortable, very good breakfast, all in all a good hotel. The location is close to the metro and an easy walk to many attractions. However Via Veneto is not what it was. There are fine looking buildings but the eating places are all very similar and represent poor value. Still its easy to find a district with places that locals eat in so this hotel is well worth considering.

“I had a GREAT experience!”

The reviews on this hotel are very mixed and I was really wondering what I was getting myself into. But, I had a GREAT experience! The location was excellent, close to the park, metro and the American Embassy. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was huge...the tub was divine, so I used it. Breakfast was included and it was a beautiful spread. I also hit the hotel bar. Marco, the bartender, was awesome. Things were a bit pricy but standard for Rome. A first class experience. I've already recommended it to friends and hope to stay their again on my next trip.
